Inhloso yeSitifiketi seMfundojikelele nokuQeqesha Kwabafundi Asebebadala (General
Education and Training Certificate for Adults) inikeza ubufakazi bokuthi abafundi
asebebadala banesisekelo solwazi olusekelwe phezu kwezifundo ezilandela umthetho
wokuqeqeshwa okuthile, izindlela zokwenza, amakhono kanye nokungamagugu. La makhono
athuthukisa ukubamba iqhaza ngendlela enommongo kwezomphakathi, kwezombusazwe
kanye nakwezomnotho. Aphinde akhe isisekelo sokuthi abafundi baqhubeka nokufunda
futhi/noma bathole ukuqeqeshwa okwedlulele, akhulise namathuba okuba abafundi bathole
umsebenzi. Le ndlela emahlangothi-maningi yokufundisa idinga ukuthuthukiswa
kwabafundi asebebadala ngokugcwele. Abafundi kungenzeka bashiya esikoleni noma
baphazamiswa yileyo ndlela yokufunda nokufundiswa esikoleni. Lolu hlelo lokufunda
lusophe ukufaka kabusha inhlansi kubafundi yokubamba iqhaza ngokuphelele emikhakheni
yezenhlakahle ngokomnotho, kanye nasemkhakeni wezepolitiki nokuphakamisa amazinga
wobulungiswa kanye nokulingana ezweni labo. Le nhloso ehlanganisa konke mayelana
nokufundiswa kwabafundi asebebadala idinga indlela ehlukile kunaleyo yokufundisa
elandelwa esikoleni. Ngokunjalo, uhlelo lokufundisa ngezilimi zesintu zase-Afrika luqoka
indlela yokufundisa ngokwenhlalo namasikompilo ozokwenza lokhu: ukuthuthukisa
ukuvuselelwa kwesiko, ukuqinisekisa ukuzazi ububona kanye nokuthola izindlela zokwakha
ulwazi kanye nokwakha imiqondo. Konke lokhu okungenhla kuyisisekelo sokuthuthukisa
umfundi osemdala ngokuphelele.

Ukwethula Uhlelo lwezemfundo

Amakhono angqangi athuthuikiswa uhlelo lokufundisa lweGETCA yilawa alandelayo:


 Ikhono lokuthuthukisa izingcezwana zomsebenzi oqanjiwe oweluliwe okhombisa
indlela yokucabanga ecacile/noma ukuthukiswa kwengxoxo noma umbono okugxilwe
kuwo;
 Ikhono lokufunda umsebenzi oqanjiwe oweluliwe, uhlaziywe ukuze kutholakale
amaphuzu asemqoka, kucatshangisiswe ngalokhu bese kwethulwe umbiko noma
kuxoxwe ngemibono nemicabango evela ngaloko okucabatshangwa ngakho;
 Ukuhlobanisa imicabango kanye nemibono ebuya kwizinhlelo zokufunda
ezahlukahlukene nokwenzakalayo emhlabeni jikelele, kwezasekhaya nokwenzekalayo
empilweni yomuntu.
 Ukuqinisekisa indlela yokwenza imfundo yomuntu izwakale ibe ngesebenza
ngokufanele ukuze kuthuthukiswe impilo yomuntu nomphakathi abafundi abahlala
kuwo, endaweni abasebenza kuyo kanye nasezimpilweni zabo.

Ukuze kufezekiswe lokhu, ukufundisa kanye nokuhlola kwiGETCA kudinga ukuba abafundi
bathuthukise izindlela ezifanele kanye namakhono okwazi ukuzakhela izingxenyana
zemibhalo eyeluliwe futhi bazinike isikhathi esanele bezilolonga. Abafundi banikwa
imithetho eyizinkomba ukuze ibasekele ukuthuthukisa le zindlela zokwenza namakhono.
Yilowo nalowo mfundi uyagqugquzelwa ukuba acabangisise ngalokho okufundwayo
ngendlela ekhombisa ukuthi akukona kuphela ukugxilisisa imicabango, imibono kanye
nemininingwane ebhalwe kuhlelo lokufunda, kodwa bakwazi ukwakha ukuzazi ububona.
Izindikimba ezikhethwe kuloluhlelo lokufunda yilezi: ulimi nokuzithuthukisa wena luqobo,
ulimi nomhlaba osizungelezile, ulimi kanye nendawo yomsebenzi kanye nesiko elithandwa
wuwonk’ wonke, umbhalo kanye nezokuzijabulisa. Uma sezizonke, lezi zindikimba

zilungiselelwe indlela yokuzwisisa ulimi njengotho oluqinisa ukuthi ungubani wena futhi
ziba yindlela yokuthola amasu wokwakha ulwazi nemiqondo kubafundi asebebadala.

Sizifundelani izilimi zesintu zase-Afrika [isiZulu]

Ukufundwa kwezilimi zesintu zase-Afrika kuwumnyombo wezinhlelo zokufunda: ukwazi


kanye nokuzazi. Abakhuluma beizilimi zesintu zase-Afrika banomlando wezilimi zabo lapho
bezibukelwa phansi nokwehliswa phansi kwesithunzi sabo kanye nendlela ababuka ngayo
umhlaba uma izilimi zabo ziqhathaniswa nezilimi zamanye amazwe. Ngaphandle
kokuqinisekiswa kokuzazi okuqinile (okunamathele ezilimini zabo), ikhono labo lokuthola
ulwazi ngokuzethemba nakho kwakhinyabezeka okwaholela ngokuthi abanye babo bagcine
bangasenandaba nesikole, nabo bazibukela phansi bangasazi ukuthi bangobani. Uma
befundiswa ngendlela eyiyo ngokuthi kusetshenziswe izindlela zasekhaya zokwakha ulwazi,
izilimi zesintu zase-Afrika ziba yisisekelo sokuthuthukisa ukuzazi ubuwena, nokwakha
ulwazi loziphembela amathuba (izindlela zokubuka) kubafundi asebebadala
okuzibandakanya kwezomnotho kanye nenhlalo ngemisebenzini noma ngokuqhubekela
phambili ngemfundo. Intuthuko yokuzazi ubuwena ngokuphelele kuyimpumelelo enkulu.
Lokhu kusiza ekwakheni izakhamuzi ezibamba iqhaza kwezomnotho, kwezopolitki ziphinde
zifake isandla ekuthuthukiseni izwe lazo.

Njengoba sekubekiwe ngenhla, le ndlela yokufundisa lesi sifundo iqhela kakhulu kuleyo
okufundiswa ngayo ngaphansi kohlelo lokufundisa lwemfundo eyisisekelo. Lesi sifundo
sihlelwe ngendlela ebonelela abaluncelelile ulimi kanye nalabo abangaluncelanga kodwa
abakwazi ukulusebenzisa. Ngokwazi ukuthi leli qembu labafundi asebadala linezimo zempilo
ezahlukene, lo hlelo lokufundisa lakhelwe phezu kwenkambiso ebonelela ukuguquguquka
nokuhambelana nezimpilo zabafundi. Ngaleso sizathu, lolu hlelo lusekelwe kwindlela yobuka
izinto ngeso lwenhlalo namasikompilo, okuyindlela egqizelela ukuthi abakhulumi bolimi
belusebenzisa kanjani ulimi kunokubheka ukuthi uhlaka lolimi lumi kanjani. Ngamanye
amagama, ukufunda kanye nokufundisa kwezilimi zesintu zase-Afrika kufanele kubonwe
ngesimo esizungeleze ezenhlalo namasikompilo. Ukuqinisekisa ukuzazi kanye nokwenza
ngcono amakhono abafundi asebebadala ngokuthuthukiswa ezenhlalo, nezomnotho, amasiko
kanye nomlando kuzoba amaphuzu amqoka kulolu hlelo lokufunda.

Indlela yokufundisa izilimi zesintu zase-Afrika kusetshenziswa inqubo yenhlalo


namasikompilo ibheka ukufunda njengenqubo yokwakha izimpawu nemiqondo lapho
ukubamba iqhaza kwimisebenzi eyenziwa ngabantu kubalulekile. Igxeka izindlela
zokuphathwa kwamakhono nokucabanga eziqondile, ezilandelisayo kanye nezahlukanisayo.
Iphinde, iphakamise ukuthi umqondo kufanele kube ngumnyombo wanoma yiyiphi iyunithi
yesifundo (isifundo esime ngasodwana). Le nqubo iyagudluka ezinkambisweni zokwakha
ulwazi ngoba izibandakanya nohlelo lwamagugu woBuntu (Umuntu ngumuntu ngabantu)
lapho isimo kanye nobudlelwano kwezokwesekana kusenkabeni. Ngalendlela yokucabanga,
iyunithi yesifundo kufanele yethulwe ngazo zonke izindlela ezikhomba ukuba
magatshagatsha kwaso kunokuthi kufundiswe amakhono nolwazi ngendlela ehlukanisayo.
Ngokusebenzisa ulwazi oluqongelelwe umfundi osemdala, kuzogcizelelwa lokho okulethwa
ngumfundi kunoma yisiphi isimo sokufunda, nomfundi lowo abukwe njengomuntu owakha
imiqondo futhi axazulule nezinkinga. Le ndlela egcwele yokufundisa ulimi idlala indima
ebalulekile ekugqugquzeleni ukwelemukela ukwehluka, ukuba ngumgwamanda,
ubulungiswa kwezenhlalo, nakulokho okusizungezile, amalungelo esintu, kanye nokuguquka.

Abafundi asebebadala abalandela lo hlelo lokufundisa bazosebenzisela ulimi lwabo izinhloso

ezahlukahlukene ezimpilweni zabo zobudala. Lokhu kufaka ukuphumelela ukungena kanye
nokubamba iqhaza emfundweni ephakeme, ukuxhumana ezindaweni zokusebenza kanye nokubamba
iqhaza emikhakheni yezamasikompilo, yezenhlalo, yezomnotho kanye neyezombusazwe.

Ngokusebenzisa indlela yenhlalo namasiko, inhloso yalo hlelo lokufundisa ukusebenzisa


imithombo yangempela ukukhulisa amakhono okuxhumana, izindlela zokucabanga kanye
nokusetshenziswa ngokufanelekile kolimi kanye nokuvezwa kwemibono kwezombhalo
ngokuhambisana nezimo. Kanti izoshintshwashintshwa indlela yokufundisa/yokwethula
isifundo ukuze ihambisane nezidingo zabafundi asebebadala.

Lolu hlelo lokufundisa lusebenzela phezu komcabango owukuthi umfundi okungenani


unolwazi olusebenzayo ngolimi lwesiZulu olufundwayo.

Izinhloso

1. Ukuhlola ukuthi ulimi lusetshenziswa kanjani ukuveza okungamagugu nezindlela


zokwenza zenhlalo namasiko. Lokhu kuzosiza abafundi:

1.1. Ukwakha kanye nokuqinisekisa ukuzazi okuhambisana nemilando yenhlalo


namasikompilo;
1.2. Ukwenza ngcono ulimi lwabo kanye nokusetshenziswa kwalo ezimweni
ezahlukahlukene;
1.3. Ukuxhumana nokuchaza imininingwane ngendlela efanele;

2. Ukusebenzisa ulimi njengendlela yokuzibandakanya nezomhlaba ngeso elibukhali futhi


nangendlela yokuziqambela;
3. Ukupha abafundi asebabadala amathuba wokufunda abalulekile ukuze bakwazi:
3.1. Ukubona ukubaluleka kolimi ezimpilweni zabo zangemihla;
3.2. Ukuzethemba uma besebenzisa ulimi futhi bezibandakanya nezimo ezahlukene;
3.3. Ukubalungiselela ukuba baqhubeke lapho izilimi zesintu zase-Afrika ziba
wumthombo wokuthola ulwazi lwezinye izilimi nezinye izifundo ezifundiswa
ngolimi lwesiNgisi.
3.4.
4. Ukuthuthukisa izindlela zokusebenzisa ulimi ezizokwenza ukuba bakwazi:
4.1. Ukulalela futhi bakhulume ngendlela enomphumela;
4.2. Ukufunda, baxoxisane futhi bazwisise imisebenzi eqanjiwe ehlukahlukene;
4.3. Ukukhuluma ngokuzethemba ngesiZulu ngokhuluma nangokubhala;
4.4. Ukwakha nokuhlaziya izinhlobo ezahlukene zokuxhumana ngendlela efanele
nezihambelana nesimo;
4.5. Ukusebenzisana nokuzibandakanya ngempumelelo ezindaweni zokusebenzi.
5. Ukuthuthukisa nogqugquzela uthando lombhalo, ubucikobomlomo, izinkondlo kanye
namafilimu;

6. Ukugqugquzela ikhono lokuziqambela kanye nokuzakhela imifanekiso ngeso


lengqondo;

7. Ukuthuthukisa ikhono lokuhlaziya ngeso elibucayi imisebenzi eqanjiwe kuzwisiswe


imithelela enayo ekuthathweni kwezinqumo ngezimo zangempela empilweni.

Imiphumela Emva Kokuqeda Ikhwalifikheshini

Ekupheleni kwalohlelo lokufunda abafundi bazokwazi:

1 Ukulalela futhi bathulele izinhloso ezahlukene, izimo kanye nezethameli;


2. Ukufunda futhi babukisise imisebenzi eqanjiwe ukuze bawazwisise, baphinde bazihlole
ngeso elibukhali futhi baphendule ngeziqanjwa eziwumbhalo nezingezona umbhalo
ezahlukahlukene;
3. Ukubhalela futhi bethulele izinhloso kanye nezethameli ezehlukahlukene basetshenzisa
izimiso kanye nezindlela zokubhala ezifanelekile kuzimo ezahlukene;
4. Ukusebenzisa ulimi kanye nezimiso zolimi ngendlela enempumelelo.

Uhlelo lokufundisa ukubhala nokufunda kanye nesilinganiso
samazinga wemiphumela wokuqeda ikhwalifikheshini

Izindlela zokwazi, zokucabanga, kanye nokwahlulela kuleyo micabango enenhlakanipho sezivele


zikhona enhlalweni nakumasikompilo. Ubukhona bezinto kwindalo nemibono (ulwazi olwakhiwe
yisintu leso) kufanele kuhanjiswe ngokufanayo ukuze kunikeze leso naleso sinyathelo (izindlela
zokwenza) sokuthi ulwazi luthuthukiswa kanjani futhi lufundwa lucaciswe kanjani. Njengoba
izifundo ngezinhlobo zezilimi ziyizibonakaliso ezisemqoka ngezindlela zokucabanga, kubalulekile
ukubheka ukuthi izilimi zesintu zase-Afrika zivezani ngalokho okwenzakalayo uma kucatshangwa.
Ucwaningo luveza ukuthi izilimi zesintu zase-Afrika zinezimpawu zokuxoxisana, zilandela
umthetho wokunkulumompendulwano kanye nokuthemeleza, lezi zinto zombili, zifuna umfundi
acabange ajule. Ngenxa yokuthi sekukhona amazinga okucabanga asevele ephezulu (izendlalelo
eziningi zokucabanga nzulu zenzeka ngasikhathi sinye), inqubo yokuhambisa inkulumo kanye
nolwazi engqondweni ihamba ngolonwabu kunangendlela okungalindeleka ngayo kuzimiso
nemigomo yolimi lwamaNgisi (Anglo-Saxon). Ngenxa yokuthi umfundi kufanele axhumanise imicu
yemininingwane okungavamile ukuba ibekwe sobala, lezi zilimi sizibiza njengalezo ezithwesa
umfundi igunya lobunikazi bolimi okuphikisana nohlobo lwezilimi eziqonde ngqo, ezibizwa
ngokuthi izilimi ezithwesa umbhali igunya lobunikazi njengaso njena isiNgisi.

Njengezilimi ezithwesa umfundi igunya lobunikazi bolimi, abafundi baphonselwa inselelo kusuka
ekuqaleni ukuba bazicabangele, (izinga lesi-3 – elihlanganisa izinga loku-1 kanye nelesi-2).
Ngamanye amagama, le ndlela yokwakha umqondo nokucabanga ilethwa wukuhlelwa
kwezimpawu zokwakheka nokusetshenziswa kwezilimi kanye nokwakhiwe ngamasikompilo. Le
ndlela yokwakha umqondo iphinde isekelwe yindlela yokucabanga ezwakalayo esivele ikhona
kuhlobo lolimi. Ucwaningo lukhomba ukuthi indlela yokucabanga nokuqonda okwenzeka ezilimini
zesintu zase-Afrika ikhetha inkulumo engaqondisi ngqo, ehlobisayo, eyelulayo, kanye nenkulumo
enongiwe enemifanekisomqondo. Le ndlela yokucabanga nokuqonda isekela izindlela
zokucabanga ezingaqondile ngqo, eziguqugukayo, ezizungelezayo, nezicabaleleyo kanti futhi
ezihlela izinto ngononina ngendlela yokufunda nokubhala okungafaniyo nohlelo lwendlela
yokufunda nokubhala eyaqanjwa nguBloom noma noBarret. Awukho umcabango ohambelana
“nomqondo osobala” (bheka ukuhunyushwa okwenziwe kuCAPS) futhi ukulungisa/ukuhlela
kabusha akuqonde ukulandelana kwamagama njengoba enjalo kodwa kuqondwe ukwelula kanye
nokuhlela kabusha ngokuziqambela ngalezo zindlela ezingezingabonakali/ezingasisobala
kumfundi. Lokhu kudinga ukuba umfundi athathe isinyathelo esedlulele kulokho okusobala futhi
ahumushe okungasisobala ukuze azwisise umsebenzi oqanjiwe. Kubalulekile ukuqaphela ukuthi
ukuhlola kwenzeka ngezindlela ezingaqondile ngqo; abafundi kufanele bazicabangele bazitholele
kusiqanjwa eseluliwe ukuthi okuyiqiniso yikuphi. Isakhiwo solimi esibeka igunya lobunikazi
kumfundi ngakhoke, sivumela ngasikhathi sinye amasu okucabanga nokusebenzisa ulimi
ngendlela eguquguqukayo, engenamibandela, nemagatshagatsha njengale eboniswe kusithombe
soku-1 esingezansi:

Lesakhiwo sokuhlela sikhomba ukuthi ubunjalo bezilimi zesintu zase-Afrika


ziyisicaba, ziyindilinga futhi ziyaphindelela. Ngaleyondlela, ukuzicabangela,
ukudidiyela, ukwelula, ukuhlola, nokuhlela kabusha kuyizakhi ezihlangene
nendlela yokucabanga, ekhombisa ubudlelwano bokusekelana
okungenamkhawulo phakathi kwezindlela zokucabanga. Lokhu kuhambelana
nohlelo lwamagugu oBuntu aphathelene nalokho okuqhubekayo kodwa
okungaxhumananga okuwumqondo walolulimi lokucabanga: Umuntu ngumuntu
ngabantu. Ngenxa yokuthi, ukucabanga sekuvele kukhona emphakathini, uhlelo
lokungamagugu nendlela yokucabanga kwezikhulumi kutshaliwe ezilimi futhi
kusemqoka kulolu hlelo lokufundisa olubhekise kwezenhlalo namasikompilo.

Umfundi weGETCA

Kufanele kucikelelwe ukuthi umfundi ongenele lo hlelo lokufunda lweGETCA akalandelanga


uhlelo lwefundo oluvamile ukuthola ikhwalifikheshini. Izinga, ubungako balo, kanye
nekhwalithi yolwazi lomfundi lwemfundo yangaphambili lungahluka kakhulu. Iminyaka
yabafundi asebebadala nayo ingahluka, kusukela kwabancane kuze kufike kwabadala

Indlela yalolu hlelo lokufundisa ihlangabezana kanjani nezidingo zomfundi:

1. Ukuthuthuka kwempilo yomuntu: Ukuze kuhlangatshezwane nezidingo


ezahlukile zomfundi osemdala weGETCA futhi kugqugquzelwe isiko lwemfundo

Umsebenzi wejenali ebhalwe ngobuliminingi ilena elandelayo:


a. Ivumela umfundi ukuba aziqeqeshe ukubhala njalonjalo ngaphandle
kokwesabela ukuthi umsebenzi wakhe obhaliwe uzohlanganiswa
nokuhlolwa;
b. Inikeza umfundo irekhodi lakhe elikhomba inqubeko eyenzekile selokhu
ethathe lezi zifundo, futhi ingafaka namagama okungowakhe;
c. Isiza lapho umuntu ngokwakhe ezihlela;
d. Igqugquzela kumfundi ukuzimbanadakanya nenqubo yokufunda ngendlela
enakile, futhi nokungenelela ngendlela ehlaziya ngeso elibucayi kuko konke
okumzungezile.

2. Imisebenzi eqanjiwe efundwayo nehlaziywayo: Kuyalulekwa ukuba
abafundisi bagqugquzele abafundi ukusebenzisa imisebenzi eqanjiwe abanqwamana
nayo nsukuzonke. Ukuvumela abafundi banikezane ngemisebenzi eqanjiwe
abazikhethele yona kuvula amathuba amaningi kwezemfundo futhi kugqugquzela
kumfundi ukubamba iqhaza ngendlela eqhubekayo kanye nokwelemukela
isikompilo. Abafundi kufanele basizwe ekutholeni imisebenzi yombhalo abazokwazi
ukuyizwisisa kodwa ikwazi ukubaphonsela inselelo efanele ukuze ibe nokuyigugu
kokufundwayo.

3. Isakhiwo lo hlelo lokufunda: Lolu hlelo lwezemfundo lulandela indlela


yokufundisa ngokwezindikimba lapho amakhono amakhulu wezokuxhumana
esevele ekhona. Ohlelweni lokufunda olukhetha indlela yenhlalo namasikompilo
lapho kugqizelelwa lokho abakhulumi abakwenza ngolimi, kunokuthi isakhiwo
nezimiso zolimi zibukeka kanjani, kubalulekile ukuzinzisa imisebenzi yolimi.
Ngamanye amagama, uhlelolimi nemigomo yolimi kutholakala ekusetshenzisweni
kolimi kuzimo lapho lusetshenziswa khona. Lokhu kunjengoba kubekiwe ngoba lolu

besebenzisa ukuxhumana okukhona phakathi kokufundiswayo.
• Lolu hlelo lokufundisa lwesekelwe phezu kwesidingo sokuthuthukisa ukuzazi
komfundi kanye nemfundo yempilo yonke yomfundi. Ngalokho-ke, abafundisi
kufanele bagqugquzela abafundi njalonjalo ukuba basebenze ngokubambisana
nemisebenzi eqanjiwe, njengabafundi abanqwamana nayo nsukuzonke, lokho
kungcono kunokusethela abafundi imisebenzi eqanjiwe. Abafundisi kufanele ngaso
sonke isikhathi bakhuthalele ukwelulela ukusetshenziswa kwemfundo yabafundi
yaseklasini kulokho okubazungezile.

• Abaqeqeshi bayagqugquzelwa ukwakha ubudlelwano ngokubamba izingxoxo
njalonjalo nabafundi babo, ngaleyo ndlela bakwazi ukuhlola ngokuqhubekayo
okuyizidingo zabafundi. Abaqeqeshi bayagqugquzelwa futhi ukuba bavuleleke
kulokho okuba yizinguquko ezinqubweni ukuze kuqinisekiswe ukuthi ukufunda
kuhlala njalo kuhambisana nezimo futhi kuwusizo.

Imihlahlandlela yemisebenzi eyenziwayo
Yonke imisebenzi eyenziwayo ekufundisweni isiZulu kufanele ilandele uhlelo lwenhlalo
namasikompilo, lapho amasiko, ukuzazi kanye nalokho okwenziwa ngabakhulumi
bolimi kungcono kunendlela yokufunda ulimi nombhalo ngaphandle kokucabanga.
Lokhu kuhambisana nesimo sokubukeleka phansi kwesiZulu. Amasu okuvuselela
kabusha ulimi kanye nezindlela zokuzazi kwabakhulum ulimi kubalulekile ekufundiseni
ukuvuselela amalungelo obuntu, ukulingana kanye nokwehluka okulindekile ophikweni
lwemfundo yabafundi asebebadala. Kubalulekile ukuba izindlela zokufundisa ulimi
ezisemqoka zikhethwe njengoba kuchazwa ngezansi:

Izindlela zokufundisa ezihambelana nalolu hlelo lokufundisa yindlela yemisebenzi yobuciko


nenqubo kanye neyezilimi eziningi ndawonye.

Indlela yemisebenzi yobuciko nenqubo

Ukufundisa ngemisebenzi yobuciko nenqubo yindlela yokufundisa ehlanganisa izici zako


kokubili; imisebenzi yobuciko kanye nezinqubo. Uhlelolimi kanye nolwazi lwamagama
amasha kubekelwe ngemuva ngoba kufundiswa njengengxenye ehlanganiswe nezindlela
zokufundisa ulimi ezifaka ukufunda, ukubhala, ukukhuluma kanye nokulalela. Le ndlela
ihambisana kahle nendlela yokubuka ehambisana nenhlalo namasiko ekhethwe kulo hlelo.
Iqala ngesisekelo sokuthi imisebenzi eqanjiwe iyizinto esezivele zikhona emphakathini kanti

nokuzivelisayo, okufaka izethameli zolwazi, inhloso kanye nezimiso. Okuyikonakona

(imisebenzi eqanjiwe yangempela), ukuhlaziya imisebenzi eqanjiwe (izakhiwo, ulimi, inhloso

aphinde akhe kabusha imisebenzi eqanjiwe ngaphakathi kwezimiso zohlobo lomsebenzi
wobuciko ofundwayo (ukusebenzisa). Ekufundiseni lapho kusetshenziswa imisebenzi
yobuciko, ulwazi luqondaniswa kakhulu nezinjongo umphakathi onazo ngemisebenzi leyo
kanti futhi kugqizelelwa kakhulu okuyindlela umfundi abuka ngayo izinto. Kulezo zilimi
ezithwesa igunya lobunikazi kumfundi, ukugxila kwazo kumfundi/kusethameli solwazi
kwenza lokho okugcizelelwayo kube sekuxhumaneni kokucabanga nokuzwisisa okwenzeka

ingasetshenziswa lapho abafundi befunda futhi bekhiqiza imisebenzi eqanjiwe ethulwa
ngomlomo noma ebhalwayo. Abafundi bazibandakanya nezigaba ezahlukene zokulalela,
zokukhuluma, zokufunda kanye nakuzinqubo zokubhala. Isibonelo, ngesikhathi sendlela
yenqubo yokubhala, abafundi bafundiswa ukusungula imibono, bacabange ngenhloso kanye
nezethameli zolwazi, bahlele lokho abazokuqamba, babhale izinhlaka zemisebenzi yokuqala,
babubuyekeze imisebenzi yabo besusa amaphutha futhi bethule umkhiqizo abawubhalile
oveza lokho abakucabangayo. Ubuthakathaka obukhona ngale ndlela wukuthi isekelwe
phezu kwezinqubo zokuhlaziya ulwazi eziqonde ngqo kanye nalezo ezilandelisanayo
ekucabangeni okwenza zingahambisani nalawo makhono okuhlaziya ulwazi asuselwe

zokufundisa izilimi zesintu zase-Afrika. Indlela yokucabanga yolimi lwesiZulu ibhekise
kakhulukazi kumfundi kunokuthi ibhekise kumbhali, igxilise kuleyondlela yokucabanga
yokwenzakala ngaphandle komsebenzi okuqanjiwe. Yingakho-ke indlela yokukhuluma
yokuthemeleza kanye nezinye izindlela zokukhuluma ezingaqondisi ngqo zaziswa kakhulu

Lesi siqephu siletha ukwelemukela ubuciko bokukhuluma kanye nezimiso zolimi lwesiZulu.
Sivumela abafundi ukuba balinganise ukukholeka kwemininingwane ethulwayo. Abafundi
bazokwenziwa ukuba baqaphele okungenani isibonelo esisodwa vo sobuciko bokukhuluma
olimini lwesiZulu. Ukufunda ukuthi ulimi lwabo yilolo olwethwesa igunya kumfundi
okubavumela ukuba babone lokho okuthweswe kumfundi nekhono lokwehlulela

Ukukhangisa kwakha ingxenye yemisebenzi yobuciko abafundi abanqwamana nayo


ezindaweni ezibazungezile. Kodwa-ke, izilimi zesintu zase-Afrika zivelele kakhulu
emisakazweni, bese kuba nengcosana ekhona kokushicilelwe kanye nakuthelevishini.
Kukhona imithombo eminingi kwezobuciko obubukwayo engaba wusizo ukukhulisa
ukwelemukisa abafundi kokungamagugu kanye nendima edlalwa ngokubukwayo. Uhlelo
lokufunda ukuhlaziya lokubuka izingxoxo eziyimibono ngeso elibucayi (critical discourse
analysis) luzoba yingxenye ehlanganisiwe kulesi siqephu ukuze abafundi bazibandakanye
nemisebenzi eqanjiwe ngeso elibucayi baphinde bacabange bajule ngalezo zimo lapho
kuntuleka imisebenzi eqanjiwe.

Esikhathini sobuningi bemininingwane (information age) sidinga ukuba abantu baqeqeshwe


kahle ngamathuluzi kanye namasu okuthola nokulawula imininingwane. Lesi siqephu
sibheka imithombo yolwazi nanokuthi ihlolisiswa kanjani. Kusukela kokushiwo ngomlomo
kuya ezinkundleni zokuxhumana zomphakathi, abafundi bazofundiswa ukuthi

INDIKIMBA 3: ULIMI KANYE NENDAWO YOMSEBENZI

Isingeniso

Kubalulekile ukuphawula ukuthi izilimi zesintu zase-Afrika bezinganakiwe ezindaweni


zemisebenzi. Okukodwa okuzicatshangelwayo okusetshenzisiwe ekuthuthukiseni lolu
hlelo lokufundisa wukuthi kungenzeka umfundi weGETCA angaqhubeki nemfundo
yakhe esemthethweni kodwa ashiye izifundo zakhe khona lapha bese eyofuna
umsebenzi. Kubalulekile-ke ukuthi ikhwalifikheshini yeGETCA inike abafundi ulwazi
olwanele lokuzwisisa izilimi zesintu zase-Afrika abazokwazi ukulusebenzisa
ngokuzethemba ezindaweni zomsebenzi. Ulwazi ngokusetshenziswa kwezinhlobo
ezithize zolimi kubukwa njengokugqugquzela ukusetshenziswa kolimi ngendlela
ekhulayo ezindaweni zokusebenza. Uma kwenzeka abafundi baqhubeke nokufunda,

Isingeniso

Le ndkimba iyindlela yokuya kwimibhalo eselimini lwesiZulu ngokuba inike abafundi


ithuba lokuzibandakanya nemisebenzi eqanjiwe njengaleyongxenye yokuzithokozisa
kanye nokuqeda isizungu. Futhi yakha isisekelo sokuhlaziya imisebenzi yombhalo

isikhathi sokubuyekza kanye nokuhlolwa. Ngaleyo ndlela, abafundi kulindeleke ukuba
bachithe isikhathi esingangamahora ama-2 ngeviki bezifundela kanye nehora eli-1 ngeviki
bebhala.

Izingxenye zolimi kanye nokuthuthukisa ubuwena kufanele kufundiswe kuqala bese

ekutheni uzobhekana nakho kanjani.

Ukufundiswa ngokubukwayo – ikhono lokuzwisisa kanye nokwakha umqondo ngezithombe kanye


nemifanekiso ebukwayo.

Ukuhambisana nempilo – okuqukethwe okuxhumene nempilo yezenhlalo namasikompilo abafundi.

Ukulingisa okuhlabayo – indlela ehlekisayo yokulingisa umbhalo ongahlekisi.

Ukukhula kwesixakaxaka – lokhu kuqondwe ukuthuthukiswa kwesixakaxaka ezingxenyeni


ezisekuqaleni zomdlalo, zenoveli, zendaba noma zefilimu. Ukuba khona komoya wokuthi
ukugqubuzisana kuyakhula kwizenzo ezikhona endabeni, kuthiwa kukhula isixakaxaka esiholeleni
kuvuthondaba.
