EQUIPMENT’S DETAILS
FAULT DESCRIPTION:
The instrument was not cooling to the required temperature.
SERVICE DONE.
a. Checked control wiring and electrical connections. Visually inspected all wiring for
wear, kinks, bare areas and discoloration and ground connections. Found to be ok.
b. Visually inspected doors to check for torn gaskets and seals to prevent energy leakage.
c. Checked the condition of the interior, Inspected evaporator coils for ice build-up and
dripping. Found to be ok.
d. Checked refrigerant level, frost timers, unit cooler, superheat systems. The condenser
unit was found to be faulty not pumping refrigerant into the system.
e. Inspected drain lines for blockage. drain pan, drain line and trap heat tape operation.
f. Checked fan motors and blades. Ascertained that the fan blades have no obstruction,
signs of stress or wear. set screws are tightened as required.
REMARKS / RECOMMENDATION
The refrigerator compressor unit is faulty and need replacement. a new compressor is
required to be purchased and must meet technical and operational requirement part no
Embraco NEK6213GK. The compressor should be obtained from authorized agent by
the manufacturer.
