1. Overview
The Blackminer F1+ is a mining machine which uses advanced FPGA chip as the
main chip. Compared with ASIC chip, high-performance FPGA is programmable and
has more resources, and can adapt to a variety of algorithms. Blackminer F1+ has
very simple hardware configuration and can mine multiple coins. The algorithm
flexibility makes it different from ASIC miners. Through continuously updating,
customers can experience more mining fun while gaining good profits.

*You must provide your own power supply which output is DC12V and power
greater than 1300W.

1.1 Blackminer F1+ Components

Main components of Blackminer F1+ and controller front panel are shown in the

1.2.2 Physical Parameters

a) Power Supply：DC 12V
b) Power：Depend on different algorithms, power >1300W is recommended
c) Volume：430mm × 290mm × 240mm（with package）
355mm×134mm×198mm（without package）
d) Weight：5.047kg(net)，6.0kg(with package)
e) Operating ambient temperature：-30℃ ~ 40℃

2. Connecting the Power Supply

a) Seven PCI‐e connectors are located at the top of the F1 server for connecting the
power supply as follows

b) Connect power supply power cable connectors to each of the 7 PCI‐e connectors
on the top of the F1+ server, ensuring that all the connectors are powered by the
same power supply
c) The switch on the hash board dial to power interface
d) Connect the network cable to the ETH port
e) Take the power supply on

3. Setting Up the Server

3.1 How to Reset the Login Password

a) Login in and the User name and password are both root

b) Click System-Administration, input password “root”, then input your own

password, then click “Save&Apply”, after reseting, the reseting of the password
is done.

3.2 How to find IP
c) Install and run“IP reporter”
d) Shelf, Step, Position – suitable for farm servers to mark the location of the servers,
Default – suitable for home servers
e) Click “STRAT”
f) Press the “IP report” button until it beeps, then release the button
g) The IP address will be displayed in a window on your computer screen
h) In your web browser, enter the IP address provided. Name and password are all
default“root”
i) In the Network section, you can assign a Static IP address (optional)
j) Click“Save & apply”

3.3 How to Upgrade Firmware

a) Download firmware on www.hashaltcoin.com
b) Sign in the miner
c) Click ‘system’->’upgrade’
d) Click browse button and choose the firmware you want to upgrade
e) Click Flash image, waiting until miner reboot, then firmware upgrade is success.

3.4 Select Algorithm：
a) Choose “Miner Configuration”->” General setting”
b) Click the “Miner General Configuration”, select the algorithm you want from the
drop-down list
c) Input the pool address in URL
d) Input your wallet address in worker
e) Input password in Password if necessary
f) Click the “Save & Apply”, waiting until miner reboot

3.5 Adjust Frequency in the Current Algorithm：

a) Choose “Miner Configuration”-> “Advanced Settings”
b) Adjust the frequency to get the best result
c) Click “Save & Apply” button, waiting until miner reboot

3.6 How to Remove Existed Bit File if Storage is Full
Due to the limitation of the storage, we could not copy all bit file into the miner.
So, if the storage is full, you need to remove existed bit file when update image. There
are two ways to remove existed bit file：

3.6.1 IOS System

a) Extract the compressed image file, like “upgrade_altcoin _F1+ _0xbtc.gz.tar”:
b) Open runme.sh. add below commands:
i. rm –rf /fpgabit/deleteFile.conf
ii. rm –rf /fpgabit/deleteFile.bit
c) Re-create “upgrade_altcoin_F1+_0xbtc.gz.tar”and upgrade it to the miner.

3.6.2 Windows System

a) Download and install winscp (winscp download link https://winscp.net/eng
/download .php )
b) Connect to the miner by winscp
c) Choose the protocol: SCP
d) Input the IP of the miner
e) Username: root password: root
f) Click login
g) Browse into the path: /fpagbit
h) Delete the algorithm which you want to delete, take 0xbtc as example, “delete

 cgminer_0xbtc.confg” and “fpgaminer_top_0xbtc.bit”

4. Common Faults and Maintenance
