No matter how great and successful a company is, there is no way or chance that the company

will not experience public backlash. For decades, companies face backlash just because of a
scandal an influencer did or they mistakenly did something that people started to criticize them
such as cutting its cost, where consumers could see how much they cut their cost to the point
that the quality already feels cheap but they still sell it in an amount of more than the cost of the
product itself. And for how the companies avoid pitfalls to improve their initiatives? I suggest that
they should start a process or a study where they could see what is the problem, why does the
company experience this kind of situation. There are tons of common problems that companies
face that hinder them to improve their products, but from what I could see the most common
problem is the failure of the upper management to focus on the objective or goals of the
business, with adapting the six sigma and implementing it the company/business could prevent
a bigger problem. What they can do are, do a monthly meeting with the management and talk
about what are the issues that they could see to the business goals and what can they do to
improve it, ensure that the improvement that they did is being implemented and if that certain
goal is hitting the allover goals that will benefit them. But also, it will not be as successful as
they think if they just adopt six sigma, they need also to understand what does the method really
does to help a company restart or continue because if not they'll go back to zero.

In terms of what could I suggest to these American Vehicle Companies to regain their market, is
first don’t lose the quality of their products, yes they could cut their cost but they still could find
parts for their vehicles with lower prices but with the same quality that they used back then.
Because people could still remember their brand for having that “kind” of quality that they surely
loved. Second promoting the brand, with the power of branding people could start the talk and
could raise awareness that the company is back. And also advertising, marketing, and
promotion are tried and tested that help companies regain their target market. It may not affect
all of the major factors of the supply chain, but some of my suggested implementations could
affect the customer demands, the structure, inventory.
