The story is about an old woman who lived alone … One morning she hear that door

knock. She received a package with a note. His son couldn't visit again. She opened

the package and she felt surprised because when she looked inside this package,

there was a little robot named Colby. The robot helped with the housework such as:

cleaning, watered plants until they saw the sunset, etc.

After time went by, Colby ran out of batteries and the old woman was looking for

batteries. So he was very kind to her and he spent time with her. Colby became her

best friend. Each afternoon, the robot watched TV and always liked watching

commercials about circus on the TV. He wanted to go to the circus so the old woman

bought the tickets.

When the expected day arrived ... Colby was ready to go to the circus with the old

woman, but before that he old woman requested her hat as she rocked slowly. The

robot went for her hat and when he came back, he saw the old woman very quiet and

she had closed her eyes... She was dead. Colby didn’t understand because he was

thinking that she needed to change her batteries but it was incorrect.
