STATEMENT OF PROMBLEM

Mrs. Icilda Clark, an elderly lady from your church's house was recently burnt to the ground due

to an electrical fire. Members of the church donated and offered their services to help Mrs. Icilda

to replace her home. The damage done by the fire has resulted in destruction of Mrs.Icilda

property and possession. Luckily for Mrs. Icilda the land on which the house was built is still in

good condition and the soil is a mixture and mostly sand, silt and clay. As a member of Mrs.

Icilda church,you are assigned with the task of designing a suitable house to accommodate Mrs.

Icilda and her family of three.


JUSTIFICATION

To design a house tailored to meet the needs of Mrs. Icilda and her family. The house should include two

bedrooms and a bathroom for the parents and children, along with a generously sized living room and

kitchen area. Additionally, a washroom was incorporated along with a verandah these spaces provide the

family with more to carry out chores and lounging space. Outside, provide sufficient yard space for

recreational activities and a garage for convenient vehicle storage, facilitating Mrs. Icilda’s daily

commutes to and from the location.


CONDITIONS

 Front Boundary Distance: Ensure the front of the house maintains 15 feet from the

boundary

 Proper Scale: The design must adhere to proper scaling standards.

 Authorization Requirement: Approval from the parish council is required for the

design.

 Land Ownership Verification: Sufficient land space and proof of ownership are

necessary prerequisites.

 Client Preferences: The design must align with the client's preferences.

 Building Code Compliance: Compliance with current building codes is mandatory for

the design.

CONCLUSION

The suggested layout includes a two-bedroom home that is both comfortable and practical, furnished with

all the necessities to improve Mrs. Icilda and her family's standard of living. With a luxurious bathroom,

an expansive kitchen perfect for cooking activities, and a sizable living area The arrangement meets the

residents' everyday demands and lifestyle preferences, making it ideal for entertainment and leisure.

Furthermore, having a large yard promotes a harmonic balance between indoor comfort and outdoor

enjoyment by providing room for outdoor activities and leisure. Every detail of the design has been

carefully considered in order to meet all of Mrs. Icilda's and her family's needs and preferences,

guaranteeing a pleasant and contented living environment for years to come.
