GENERAL COMMENTS

1. This submittal contains documents related to GMFS-145-0 Conventional Type Power cable termination. The Contractor has
not specified whether the same is going to be used at 115kV GIS compartment in DAMMAM HOUSING 380/115/13.8KV or
D.I.E 4 B 115/13.8KV SUBSTATION or both.
As per PTS 22EC1160 4.02 II. B and C “The compatibility of the proposed cable sealing end with the existing GIS
compartment shall be verified by the CONTRACTOR”. In this regard, the Contractor shall confirm that the proposed
cable termination GMFS-145-O is compatible with the existing GIS cable compartments at DAMMAM HOUSING
380/115/13.8KV and D.I.E 4 B 115/13.8KV SUBSTATION.

If not, the suitable model along with the data schedule and compliance statement shall be submitted for our review and
approval.
