HANDHELD WRITING BOARD

Field of the Utility Model

The present utility model relates to a writing board and particularly to a low-cost
5 handheld writing board with rewritable capability.

Description of the Prior Art

Writing boards are instructional materials used in the classroom. In an elementary

classroom, writing boards are important in teaching the pupils how to write. Many writing
boards are made up of plywood with enamel coating. Most are used with pieces of chalk which
10 turn into dust when erased. Further, these writing boards are costly and heavy.

US 4,996,110 (Tanuma et.al.) discloses a white board comprised of a front surface layer
composed of a polyester film having undergone a hard coat treatment and a rear surface layer
composed of a sheet-like magnet. This white board is a better innovation than a chalkboard
however, because of the materials used in constructing the said white board, it comes in an
15 expensive price.

The primary object of this utility model is to create a white board alternative in the form
of a handheld writing board that is easy to make and inexpensive.

Another object of this utility model is to provide said handheld writing board a light
weight advantage.

20 Another object of this utility model is to provide said handheld writing board a
rewritable capability thereby making it useful many times.

A further object of this utility model is to provide the users a writing pad which need not
be torn out and thrown away the moment it’s been written something such that of a piece of
paper. Because the marker to be used in said handheld writing board is a white board marker,
25 users can reuse said handheld writing board many times.
Summary of the Utility Model

To address the concerns of cost and weight, a cardboard lined with a plurality of blue
and red lines covered with a transparent writing sheet is used. This writing board also uses an
erasable white board marker so that it can be used many times. It is light, easy to make, and
5 cheap.
