JESUS TOOK MY PLACE ON THE CROSS
Just like a compassionate father, God looked
for a way to save us. He found that the only
way to redeem mankind was through His Son,
Jesus Christ. God had to make a decision:
either destroy all of humanity, condemning
them for all eternity, or punish the human
race through the person of His only Son.
“But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was
crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that
brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds
we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5).
JESUS PAID THE PRICE FOR MY FREEDOM
ON THE CROSS
Jesus once said, “Very truly I tell you, everyone
who sinsis a slaveto sin” (John 8:34).
OBJECTIVES
To identify the spiritual, emotional and
physical blessings we receive at the cross.
To accept that Jesus died so that we could
live life to the full.
Through His sacrifice, Jesus opened wide the
doors of the prison of sin where the enemy
had long detained us. Jesus set us free from
everything that had driven us to sin (wrong
thoughts, wrong desires, addictions, habitual
sins, etc.).
JESUS TOOKTHE WORST

The moment we accept Jesus into our hearts,
all the evil we were is absorbed by the power
of the cross. God takes our rebellious and
sinful nature and places it upon the body of
His Son, Jesus Christ. All the blessings of God
become ours when we give our entire lives to
Him.
Paul said: “Consequently, just as one trespass
resulted in condemnation for all people, so also
one righteous act resulted in justification and life
for all people” (Romans 5:18), Jesus has
made us righteous before God, carrying
all of our unrighteousness upon Himself in
His death.
