CONCLUSION

The poet uses deeply meaningful words that captivate the reader and help them comprehend
the true meaning of what the poet is trying to say. The poet's use of descriptive language and vivid
imagery enhanced the significance of the poem and helped the reader understand that the speaker is
expressing her unwavering love for her partner. She expresses to her partner the depth of her love for
him, as well as her hope that God will grant her the ability to love him after she dies. In addition, the
poet also uses a simple title for her poem since the readers already have an idea of what the poem is all
about when they read the title, “How Do I Love Thee?”.
