Activity: Picture! Picture!


Materials: a pictures
• Facilitate a discussion about the meaning and importance of cultural differences.
• Show a picture that can express the cultural differences. Allow the students to analyze the
picture.

Activity: Concept of nationalism


Materials: PowerPoint presentation that discusses the key concepts related to relating to
nationalism
• Lead a discussion about the word “cultural differences” .
• Ask students what it means to respect themselves, others, and the world around them.
Record their ideas on their journals.
Read the poem: The strength in diversity
Components In a world that’s filled with diversity,

We should celebrate our differences with clarity,

For in our uniqueness lies our strength,

A tapestry of colors, a symphony of lengths.

Our skin may be different hues,

Our eyes may be of different views,

Our cultures may have varied norms,


Activity
But in our hearts, we share the same forms.

We all have struggles we face,

But in our differences, we find grace,

We learn from one another’s stories,

And we gain strength from each other’s glories.

The world is a canvas of vibrant colors,

• Show a PowerPoint presentation that discusses on how to be a nationalism
• Prompt learners and discuss character feelings and real-life connections.
Reflection
• Explore the role of relating to their neighbors in understanding others and its application
in daily interactions.
• Ask this reflective question: “What is cultural differences?”
• “Do you think we all deserve to respect in our country?” Why?

Activity: Expressing cultural differences inside and outside the country
Materials: Journals, writing tools, coloring materials, cellphones for digital entries, bond paper.
• Explain the task: Creatively express thoughts on nationalism inside the school.
