I. Topic: An investigation into using the ELSA Speak App to learn the
speaking skills of juniors who majored in English at IUH.

1. What is the topic you research?
The purpose of this topic is to research the effectiveness/impact of
the Elsa Speak app on the pronunciation of speaking learners. The topic
focuses on researching whether using this app for speaking learners helps
improve pronunciation when communicating.
2. Why do you want to research the topic?
This topic was chosen for research because many third-year
students pronounce incorrectly and do not know how to improve their
pronunciation. When using Elsa Speak, you will be guided to correct
errors in pronunciation, breath release, tongue placement, and mouth
shape. This application is also very easy to use and suitable for students.
3. Who will be your participant?
Junior majored in English at IUH
4. Where are you going to this research?
FFL-IUH.
5. When are you going to do this research?
Around 3 months.
