Project Guidelines for BBA-6th Sem Students

Project File Format:


1. Cover Page (Includes Title of the project, Submitted in the partial fulfilment of the requirement of
the degree of Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Name and logo of the institution,
Department Name, University Name, Student name and University Roll No., Project Guide name
& designation, Submission Date).

2. Acknowledgement (To express gratitude to those who have helped and contributed to complete the
project).
3. Table of Contents (To list of the various topics covered in the project along with the page numbers.)

4. Certificate from Project Guide/ Supervisor. (To certify your successful completion of project
under his/her guidance).

5. Introduction (To provide a brief overview of the background and context of your project, clearly
state the objectives, goals, and scope (aspects covered) of the project.)

6. Literature Review (Review relevant literature related to your project topic, identify gaps in the
existing research that your project aims to address and Use APA citation style for listing LR’s).

7. Research Methodology- A tool to conduct research with the help of various research techniques,
use the below chronology to attempt it: -
• Introduction to research.
• Relevance of research with your project topics
• Meaning of Research Methos
• Types of Research methods
• Research Design (A plan of action to conduct the research in your project)
• Objectives of the study
• Population & location of the study (if any)
• Sample Size
• Sampling techniques
• Data Collection and its method used

8. Data Analysis & interpretation (Present the data analysis methods used, including statistical tools
etc and interpret and discuss the results of your analysis)

9. Findings (Present your main findings in a clear and organized manner, Discuss the implications of
your findings, and relate them to your research objectives).

10. Conclusions (Summarize the key points and findings in your project)
11. Recommendations (Provide practical recommendations based on your findings)
12. References (List all the sources cited in your project report following a specific citation style (APA)
13. Appendices (Include any additional materials, such as charts, graphs, surveys, or supplementary
data.)

Project Formatting and Presentation: -


• Ensure Consistency in formatting throughout the report (use justify alignment in each paragraph).
• Use Time New Roman only as a font.
• Font Size:
• Title/Headlines – Use 14 Font size.
• Matter- Use 12 Font Size
• Include Page numbers from Introduction

Important Note: -
• The students are required to strictly adhere to the Project File Format and will submit the
report as per the schedule announced by the department of Management Studies, EIT/
University for assessment.
• The students are also required to submit the two hard copies of the report and one soft copy
in CD/DVD.
• The project reports shall be evaluated by external examiners during Viva-Voce at the end of
6th semester.

The students are advised to show the first progress of their Project report to the
respective project guides before 10.02.2024, failure to which strict actions will be taken
against them.
