worldwide by revenue and the biggest on the African continent. Our Office currently has the following opportunity available.
Distribution Expeditor – Lusaka
Coca-Cola Beverages Zambia requires the services of a Distribution Expeditor, reporting to the Logistics Manager. The
Distribution Expeditor will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation of the FLO system / Distribution Planning System
by gathering and analyzing daily trip feedback from drivers, with a focus on measuring performance against plans and providing
actionable management insights.

P R I N CI PLE A C C OU NT A B ILI T IE S
• Monitor and report driver route performance against delivery schedules to Team Leaders and managers.
• Package and present incidents of non-compliance in a suitable format for corrective action.
• Provide real-time feedback to planners to enhance Dynamic Routing functionality.
• Conduct daily driver debriefs to identify planning improvement opportunities and communicate outcomes to
planners for master data updates.
• Interface with customers at the Depot level regarding schedule changes and ensure resource allocation aligns
with real-time execution.
• Ensure correct vehicles depart in sequence and follow plans, highlighting deviations for corrective action.
• Extract information from FLO / Distribution planning and tracking systems to execute plans and identify
inefficiencies.
• Inform customers of order status and address delivery issues promptly.
• Conduct driver debriefs to identify non-compliance, poor performance, and safety concerns, summarizing results
for action and master data updates.
• Follow up on action taken for driver behaviour issues and report exceptions to the Logistics Manager.

R E QU I REM EN TS – QU AL IF I C AT I O NS & E X PE R IE NCE


• Relevant Supply Chain Diploma or 3-year relevant equivalent, a degree would be advantageous.
• Membership in professional supply chain or procurement bodies would be advantageous.
• 3-5 years of warehousing and/or logistics experience in an FMCG environment.
• Knowledge of EoStar would be advantageous.
• Experience in warehouse operations, processes & performance measures
• Experience in distribution operations, processes & performance measures
• Experience in fleet operations, processes & performance measures
• Sound planning, organising, reporting and control acumen
