Chemical nature Rheovis® AT 120 is a copolymer based on methacrylic acid and acrylic acid
esters.

Appearance Rheovis® AT 120 is a milky, low viscous dispersion.

Handling and Storage


Handling a) Rheovis® AT 120 should be stored in a dry place in its original sealed
packaging.
b) Rheovis® AT 120 can slightly separate during the storage time. The product
must be homogenized before it is processed. It must be mixed sufficiently prior
to use.
c) The storage temperature must be between min. +1 °C and max. + 50 °C.
The storage temperature must not exceed 50 °C and should exceed
40 °C only for a short period of time.
d) At temperatures below + 1° C the product freezes and thereby is
irreversibly destroyed.
e) Rheovis® AT 120 must be protected from sunlight and high temperatures.
Storage temperatures above + 50 °C destroy the product properties.
This is an irreversible process.

product safety.

Shelf life Provided it is stored properly and drums are kept tightly sealed, Rheovis® AT 120
has a shelf life of at least 1 year in its original packaging.

Materials Rheovis® AT 120 should be stored in tanks made from the following materials:
a) Stainless steel 1.4541 – AISI 321 (X6 CrNiTi 18-10)
b) Stainless steel 1.4571 – AISI 316 Ti (X6 CrNiMoTi 17-12-2)
c) Stainless steel 1.4306 – AISI 304 L (X2 CrNi 19-11)
d) HDPE – high density polyethylene
e) LDPE – low density polyethylene
