Overview

The game is played over 6 rounds. Players take turns one after
another. During the turn player takes exact 4 actions in the
following order:
place Building Tile
move Ghost
Authors: score or exchange pattern

Joanna Michalska Place a Building Tile of any color next to the SIDE of one already
placed on the board. You can only place tiles SIDE by SIDE one
another, not by the corner!
Components
In rare case when Building Tiles of a specific color run out, you
cannot place new Building Tiles of that color - you have to
choose different color.

ACTION: Move Ghost


4 sets of 9 Building 32 Pattern Cards 12 doublesided
Move one Ghost up to 2 times or two Ghosts up to 1 time each:
Tiles in different colors solo cards
If moved into a tile with any Player Token, move that token
to any adjacent empty Building Tile including one that
Ghost just came from.
If moved into a tile with another Ghost, move that other
4 Ghosts 9 Scare Tokens 4 sets of Ghost once to any adjacent tile. The other Ghost can be
5 Player Tokens moved to any adjacent tile even if would result in moving
yet another Ghost or Player Token.

Candies You can give up the movement.


On the other side of each Building Each tile can only hold one piece of any kind.

You get candies when you score a
pattern and your kid is in the right
building (see Score Pattern Action).
ACTION: Score pattern
You can score only 1 Pattern card during this action. Check if
Setup any of your Pattern Cards matches Building Tiles placed on a
board (you can rotate the pattern but not flip). If it does:
1. Place starting Building Tiles and Ghosts as shown

You can discard one of your Pattern Cards and draw a new one.

ACTION: Place Player Token
Place one of your Player Tokens on any of the empty tiles.

End game scoring

4 4 3 After 5 rounds when all players run out of Player Tokens, play
one more round omitting the fourth step of placing Player
Tokens. After that game ends and players flip all Bulding Tiles in
front of them to Candy side. Player with the most points wins:

6 6 2 points for each first Candy of a given color
1 point for each additional Candy in a given color
-1 point for each Scare Token in collection
Candy Hunters Puzzles
The puzzles are a slightly modified version of the basic
gameplay. They present an example of the board layout during
the game. They will help you better understand the game,
increase your perception and teach you various tactics that can
be used in the game.

Goal
You must score a certain number of points (1) in a designated
number of turns (2). You get points as usual by fulfilling one of
the given Pattern Cards (3) and scoring Candies.
You also get -1 point for each Scare Token as normal.

and difficulty level (4) raging
from very simple (A) to very
difficult (F).

Players turn
The player's turn looks similar to the basic version of the game,
minus the fourth action of adding a player token.

Each turn, the player performs the same three actions:


Adding a Building Tile of any color in any place adjacent to
any other tile on the board
Moving a Ghost twice according to the rules from the basic
version of the game
Fulfilling one of the Pattern Cards

If any pattern is macthed, the player scores points according to


the basic version of the game

The puzzle is considered solved if the player scores the


appropriate number of points in a given number of turns.
