Malaysian University English Test (MUET) is


an English proficiency examination held in
Malaysia. It is intended to assess Malaysian
students' English language competency to
pursue higher education or employment
possibilities that demand a strong command
of the English language.

Speaking skill is one of the 4 skills assessed


in this examination. Speaking skill consists of
2 parts, which are Part 1 and Part 2. In part 1,
the candidate is required to support the
provided idea individually.

Following are useful expressions that would


help to show cohesiveness and coherence in
a presentation/speech/conversation. It acts
as a linker and connector from one sentence
to another or one idea to another. These
expressions will help you to provide
justification, highlight the main points or
main ideas, greet the examiners and other
candidates, and many more.
