Activity: Answer ten questions about your target audience and create a sample social media
schedule for one week. Each strategic post should connect you with the members
of your target audience on a deep level.

Get to know your fan base by doing some research to answer the ten questions below.

Let’s get strategic! Plan out your social media posts for one week. Use the answers to
the ten questions above to guide the direction of your posts.

MONDAY (Suggestion: Review the answer to “What fears keep them up at night?” and use the answer to
create an inspirational video that addresses how to overcome one of your target audience’s
fears. Use appropriate hashtags.)

TUESDAY (Suggestion: Review the answer to “What sort of hobbies does your average reader have?” and
use the answer to create a video about the benefits of a hobby that you know your target
audience enjoys. Use appropriate hashtags.)

WEDNESDAY (Suggestion: Review the answer to “What is your average reader’s socioeconomic status?” and
use the answer to create an open and candid video about an issue/problem that someone of
your target audience’s financial demographic would face. Use appropriate hashtags.)

THURSDAY (Suggestion: Share a brief excerpt from your book. Use appropriate hashtags.)

FRIDAY (Suggestion: Post something light and funny that matches your target audience’s humor.)
