Project Title: Nurturing Healthy Community by Addressing the Canal Issue

Description:
A clogged canal is one of the common problem in a community. When people don't
throw their trash in the proper bins and don't clean the environment, it leads to a
blocked canal. When a canal stays blocked, it doesn't just affect the environment but
also our health because of the dirty and foul smell. It can also become a breeding ground
for diseases like dengue because mosquitoes start breeding in stagnant dirty water.

To avoid this, we need to implement activities that help keep the canals clean and
maintain a clean environment:

1. Orientation on the effects of blocked canals and how to maintain the cleanliness of
every canal in the community through Barangay Assembly.
2. Awareness Campaign
3. Clean-up Drive

Objectives:
1. Aims to address the canal issue in the community by implementing projects or
activities.
2. Help the community to maintain the cleanliness of their surroundings and to prevent
diseases.
3. Promote a sense of responsibility among citizens towards cleanliness and development
of the community.

Steps for Implementation:

A. Barangay Assembly

Step 1: Coordinate with barangay officials to schedule a convenient time and venue for
the orientation meeting.
Step 2: Prepare informative materials and resources for the orientation.
Step 3: Conduct the orientation session, engaging the entire barangay and beneficiaries.
Step 4: Facilitate discussions and address questions or concerns raised during the
orientation.
Step 5: Distribute educational materials and encourage community members to take
action.

B. Awareness Campaign

Step 1: Make eye-catching posters with simple messages.

Step 2: Put up posters in visible spots around the barangay.
Step 3: Post or Share messages on social media and chat groups.
