in the curriculum.

The following are the issues, needs and demands that should be considered in
the curriculum:

The social issues, needs and demands may influence the curriculum in terms of
Aims, objectives, and goals by means of evaluating those social issues, needs, and
demands in making the curriculum. Before you can able to implement curriculum,
you must know first the possible problem that can be affect your curriculum
implementation for you to set your own goals, aims, and objectives that you wanted
to achieved. You must also include evaluating the needs and demands of the
institution in implementing curriculum for its betterment. In content area, this is the
reason why teachers or curriculum maker needs to create their objectives, goals and
aims because they have content that needs to be taught. If you consider social
issues, needs, and demands in discussing the topic, you will be able to discuss it
effectively and be able to make evaluation or assessment easily.

3. Identify learner’s needs and issues that should be considered in curriculum


development.
The following are the needs and issues of learners in developing the curriculum:

The learner’s needs, learning and thinking style and issues are needed by
means of implementing the curriculum. Needs will help to enhance the
curriculum more productive as what I have said, curriculum need to
consider the needs of institution before its implementing the objective,
goals and aim that need to achieve. The learning thinking style is consider
also to know the learning experiences of the students and it would be
easier for the teacher to determine the students weaknesses and
strengths.

5. Examine the K to 12 Basic Education Curriculums. Identify the different


learning areas, subjects and courses included in the curriculum.

The K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum is a curriculum implemented by


Department of Education that aims to make students more equipped and be
ready to their future. The curriculum has 3 tracks to be tackled. Those are
Academic tracks including ABM, HUMSS, and STEM, second TVET track
including ICT, Home Economics, Agri-fisheries, and industrial arts. Last one is
Sports and Arts Tracks. The following are different learning areas, subjects, and
courses in K to 12 curriculums:

6. Identify different skills, process, values, and concepts those are important
to learn in each subjects.

K to 12 curriculum aims to improve the skill of each students to become equipped


and ready in their future career. in K to 12 Curriculum, the skills needs to develop
are critical thinking skills, communication skills and collaborative skills. Its
process is application and teaching process. Values are culturally sensitive,
competent and religious.

7. Identify suggested industry skill and habits of mind that should be enhance
the curriculum.
These are the habits of mind that help to enhance the curriculum, persisting,
listening with understanding and empathy, metacognition, questioning and
posting problems, thinking and communicating, imagination, creating and
innovation.
