EXTENDED FAMILY EUOLOGY
BIRTH
THE LATE Mr. Joseph Wanjala Mbunya was born in the year
1930 in Nyangore village, Nyamira County. He was a son to Mr &
Mrs Mbunya Nyakoe and Turusia Kemunto .
CIRCUMCISION
The late Mr. Joseph was circumcised in the year 1946.
EDUCATION
The late Mr. Joseph Wanjala Mbunya studied woodwork and
specialized in tasks such as wood splitting and succeeded in the
study which later earned a living for him and his family at large.
MARRIAGE
The late married his wife Mrs. Florence Nanjala Mbunya in 1966
and they were blessed with 9 children, namely; The late Naliaka,
The late Kennedy, George, Lornah Sitati, The late Maria, The late
Atai, The late Jacob, The late Consolata.
WORK
The late began his employment journey in 1957 as a woodwork
specialist in different areas such as Malava, Kakamega,Nambirima,
Nambacha, Busia, Uganda and Mt. Elgon. He also worked in an
Indian-owned bread making company based in Webuye in the year
1969. He later moved to Kerito Tea Farm and Jamji tea farm in
1994. He then returned to his home and started farming till his
death.

HEALTH
The late Mr. Joseph Wanjala Mbunya has been of proper health
since his childhood. On Friday, 15th /03/2024 , He woke up
healthy but at around 11:00am, he went back home complaining of
headache, he slept a short while after instructing his granddaughter
Naliaka to help rap his head with a piece of cloth, He was brought
some medicine which cooled the pain. The following day , on
Saturday, he started falling down after feeling soo weak each time
he stood. He continued with medication until Wednesday when he
was taken to Tulwet Hospital for further examination. Drops of
water were added to his bloodstream since no sickness was
identified. He was then taken to Kiminini District Hospital due to
his Inability to speak and see. After an emergency examination,
also no sickness was Identified however a cityscan was carried out
and blood was identified to have strained the brain. A plan to
surgery was layed out to be on Monday 01st April, however he
died on Sunday of 31st March 2024 at 9 am.

The late Mr. Joseph had a family of 9 children; 6(late) , 3 (alive) ,


19 grandchildren, (2) great grandchildren, a total of 36 and
departed at an age of 94years.
