2 GRAMMAR REVIEW UNIT 8: PAST SIMPLE and PAST CONTINUOUS IN NEWS REPORTS.
Yesterday night, a crazy man crashed against Spanish President’s House. When he tried to escape but he was
caught immediately and was sent to jail.
It was about midnight, Mr President was having an official dinner while his family was watching TV. All
outdoor lights were shining and people were walking peacefully in the street.
