Key Concept:

Value judgment – an opinion of the rightness or wrongness of something or someone, or of the usefulness of
something or someone, based on a comparison or other relativity.
Example: Ice cream tastes great!
It’s morally wrong to kill innocent people for fun.

Factual claim – statements that are true


– claims based upon balance and public evidence.
Example: Penguins are birds.
The dot over the lowercase “I” or “j” is known as a “tittle.”
