Nippon Life India Asset Management – Investment Analyst (Nov 2006 -March 2019)
Animesh Started his Buy side career as an Investment Analyst at Reliance Mutual fund where
he was given individual responsibility to track Oil & Gas and Automotive sectors. This
involved maintaining models on companies in sectors under his coverage as well as analyzing
company financial statement, industry, regulatory and economic information to facilitate
investment decision making process for Fund Managers. After two years, Animesh was
moved to Portfolio management division which led to increased responsibility with additional
sectors such as FMCG, capital goods, Building material and other mid cap companies across
sectors.

Sell side Experience (Sept 2003 – July 2006) – Equity Analyst

Animesh started his career in equity market as a sell side associate analyst at SSKI securities
Ltd (Now DAM capital) and assisted senior analysts across sectors such as Oil & Gas,
Telecom, Media, FMCG. Animesh’s work profile was to prepare detailed financial models
and assist senior analysts in preparing company updates. After close to two year stint ,
Animesh joined as a Senior Analyst in Karvy stock broking Limited where initiated report on
Telecom and Media sector.

Credit Analysis & Research Ltd CARE (April 2001- August 2003) – Credit Analyst
Animesh started his professional career as a credit analyst in CARE where he worked on
divestment assignment of GoI across various sectors such as Power, Telecom, inland water
transport and Agriculture.
