Dear Vu,
Graduation time
Congratulations! Records show that you’ll graduate from a P1 to a P2 probationary driver licence at midnight
on 09 March 2024.
Drive safely
Statistics show that driving on your probationary licence is the most dangerous time you will ever have as a
driver. By maintaining your good driving record, you’re well on your way to reducing this risk.
Our website has some great resources to help you continue to develop as a safe driver. Visit
vicroads.vic.gov.au to take a look.
What’s next?
From this time, you’ll need to display green P plates when driving and you can continue to use your existing
driver licence card.
If you maintain a good driving record, your P2 probationary period will end on 09 March 2027. After this date,
you won’t need to display your P plates any more.
Recently committed an offence?
If you’ve recently committed an offence/s that either incurred demerit points or led to a licence suspension or
cancellation, we’ll send you a separate letter explaining how this will affect your probationary licence.
For more information, visit our website or call us on 13 11 71.

Yours sincerely
