SPEAKER’s PROFILE
Background Info:

• Hometown : Batu Pahat, Johor.

• Primary school at Batu Pahat, secondary At MOZAC, Melaka.

• Graduated as Mechanical Engineer, Majoring in Material and Substance from Fachochschule Albstadt, Germany.

• Started working as Mechanical Eng. In a German OEM company at Prai, Penang for 7 years.

• Change career path – managing landfill operation at Pulau Burung Landfill, Penang starting from 2013 till 2016.

• Joining Greenviro Solutions Sdn. Bhd. in 2017. Started embarking on RE in the same year.

• Successfully commissioned LSS1 20MWp as co-owner in 2018, before getting another LSS2 1.2MWp project in 2019.

• Promoted as director and Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) for GSSB in 2019.

• Currently acts as the project director for various LSS4 projects awarded to the company, and also responsible for
the development of Integrated Solid Waste Management Center (ISWMC) at Ampang Jajar, Penang.
GROUP PROFILE

Greenviro was first incorporated in 2014 with the main business is

Solid Waste Management Service. The company looks into solid
waste collection system as well as operating and maintenance of solid
waste facility. The company operates in Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah,
Federal Territory of Labuan and Brunei Darussalam.

In 2017, the company ventured into renewable energy through

harvesting of solar energy and extracting of landfill methane gas via
developing of anerobic digester system for electricity generation.

The group’s vast experience and expertise in green services is inline

with government's effort and initiative towards green and
sustainable environment. The group aspire to provide effective and
efficient solid waste management system and to increase renewable
energy capacity generation for sustainable future.

Company Background:

1. Greenviro specializes in Green Services industries like integrated waste management and renewable energy
industries.

2. Greenviro group is a Bumiputera Status Company registered with the Ministry of Finance.

3. The company has the expertise, technical know-how and resources to provide a reliable and effective integrated
waste management (collection, public cleansing, transfer, recycling, and disposal). In addition, the company also
involved in green and renewable energy sector such as Solar PV system, extraction of methane gas from landfill (gas
to energy) and biomass plant.

4. Greenviro is preferred solutions provider by the local authorities and private sectors to manage and operate solid
waste management facilities (landfill’s, transfer station, MRF, and etc.) which are located locally and abroad such as in
Penang, Pahang, Kelantan, Terengganu and Brunei Darussalam.

5. Due to our continuous effort in promoting and implementing green services in our waste management activity by
minimizing the degradation of the environment, conserving the use of energy and natural resources and enabling
recycling activities from waste generated, we have been officially recognized by the Government of Malaysia as
MyHIJAU Mark Company since November 2019. To date, we are proud to announce that we are the only landfill
operator in Malaysia who have been certified with MyHIJAU Mark.

Design and Project Management Consultancy (PMC) for Renewable

Energy Projects for solar PV, biogas, biomass and mini hydro projects for
PMC independent power producers (IPPs) from project initiations, feasibility,
professional engineering design, documentations & authority approvals,
technical evaluation & balance of system (BOS) until testing and
commissioning stage
PROJECT HIGHLIGHT - ISWMC
• Referring to the introduction, GHG which contributes 2nd in terms of volume is Methane Ch4.
• However, in terms of the effect to Greenhouse, methane is 25 times more harmful than Co2.
• Thus, in our ISWMC project located in Ampang Jajar, Penang, we plan to:
- sorting out the incoming waste via material recovery facility (MRF)
- organic fraction from the incoming waste will be channel to anaerobic digester to
generate biogas which contains methane
- the biogas will undergo purification process to produce pure bio-methane.
