MINUTES OF THE REGULAR SESSION OF THE SANGGUNIANG BARANGAY OF

SAN FERMIN, CAUAYAN CITY, ISABELA HELD ON August 09, 2017 AT THE
BARANGAY HALL.

Present:

Call to Order:
The Regular Session was called to order by the Honorable Victor H. Dy, Jr., presiding
officer at exactly 10:00 am; opening prayer was delivered by SB member Reynaldo F. Perez,
followed by the singing of the national anthem conducted by SB member Ronald S. Dagman.

Roll Call:
With the majority of the Sangguniang Barangay members present, the barangay secretary
certified that the body will constitute a legislative quorum.

Business of the Day

Agenda:

1. Construction of Drainage Canal at the Barangay Hall

Since the rainy season is fast-approaching, the Sangguniang Barangay of San Fermin,
Cauayan City, Isabela, has come up with the decision of constructing the drainage system near
the Barangay Hall of San Fermin.

During the regular session, SB Member Eugenio C. Asirit, IV, Committee Chairman on
Health and Sanitation motion to the body that the drainage system located near the barangay hall
of San Fermin is in need to be repaired and constructed due to the reason that every time it is
raining, the nasty smell coming from the drainage always comes inside of the Barangay hall.
Also, in preparation to the upcoming rainy season, the drainage must be repaired as soon as
possible. It was seconded by SB Member Reynaldo F. Perez, and unanimously approved by the
body.

2. Installation of Solar Street lights

In the regular session dated last July 26, 2017, it was unanimously approved by the body
to purchase a solar-based streetlights which will be installed within the vicinity of this barangay
especially in those where there is a strategic dark places.

During the regular session, the Sangguniang Barangay assigned in every puroks submit
their reports on identified strategic dark places subject to installation of street lights. It was then
decided where the installation should start.
 There was no further business to be taken up, SB member Julie C. Arcega, motioned for
the adjournment, the presiding officer adjourned at 11:45 pm.
