2 SAP Logon (Standard Verallia)

By default, you will find the following connection on your SAP logon. Each system has a own purpose as
per described in the table.

3 Rules for nonproductive system (DD6, QD6, TD6 and SD6)

3.1 DD6 Verallia DEV (Prime system)

 DD6 is the prime DEV system of Verallia. All the configuration done into this system must be
transported to QAS mandatory. No SAP request must be abandoned here.

 It’s not system to do try outs or experiments that you don’t fully understand the impacts. For that
purpose, use another system.

 General user is not allowed to connect to this system. Only consultant, internal or external, can
navigate through this system.

 In Verallia it’s mandatory to execute a UT in this system before moving to QAS.

3.2 QD6 Verallia QAS (Prime system)

 It’s QAS system where the uses must run their UAT. Preferably, any IT member shall not do any
test here.

3.3 TD6 Verallia Training system

 The main purpose of this system is to do SAP consultant training or key-user formation.

 This environment must be used in case you want to try some configuration that you are sure about
all the impact in other customizing.

 It always must be used to avoid or not create impacts on going modification in prime system.

 However, any action must be taken carefully. The system is shared by all countries. Deep changes
in system that have a high risk to stop the entire environment is also not allowed.

 This system constantly refreshed. France system often refresh this system and erase the all data.
This operation is scheduled sometimes in the year and you will have time to be prepared for that.

 All SAP request generate may be imported to DEV prime system.

o Replicate the customizing steps in DD6 is always the best option to “transport” the
settings.
o In case of complex customizing, if well documented, the basis team can export and import
the request in DEV.

o During scheduled refresh you can contact basis teams to save and reimport the SAP
request after refresh.

 External partner projects developments must always be executed in this system.

 This system has all external interfaces working. This means you can test/training any interface
in this system in the same way of DD6.

 Consultant and User can connect simultaneously to this system. It a great advantage when you
must try a set of customizing quickly. The user can validate it without transport an SAP request
between environments.

3.4 SD6 Verallia Sand Box system

 Use this system to implement large/complex process when you already know that will be a long
list of impacts and you just want to measure it in system knowing the refresh will erase
everything.

 This system has no interface connections.

 It’s oriented to SAP consultant only (Internal or External)

 All SAP request generate here will NEVER be imported to DEV prime system.

 This system is totally isolate from external world and other SAP system and can be refreshed
without any warning.

 Again… Always be careful. Even it being a Sandbox, crash the environment is never
allowed.

4 SAP connection (First logon) using Verallia computer

All SAP connections are based on SSO. All user/password connections are forbidden internally, and
your password will always be deactivated in all system*

Note: To be sure if your SSO configuration is active: Right click on SAP logon entrance > Click
in Properties > Navigate to Network tab in popup windows that will appear > Check if you
configuration is like this.
Each system has you won SNC name.
Please check/apply the following list depending on
the system you choose;

5 SAP connection (First logon) using partner VPN.

The SSO does not work while using a partner VPN. Therefore, all remote external user without a
Verallia computer need to do a different setup in their SAP Logon.

- The VPN must be closed to start setup a Verallia SAP entry in external SAP LOGON

- All the entrance must be created under the [Custom Application Server] in external SAP logon.

- The connection parameters must be filled manually.

6 SAP Enterprise structure | Shared management Europe and AMERICAS

All SAP systems are global environment. We have just 1 client (110) and 1 instance used by all
companies in the worlds - for all systems -.

Before starting any configuration, you must have a clear view whether the customizing has only
local (company perimeter) impact or it has global impact. LATAM team is not authorized to perform
global impacts customizing in a first moment. Any implementation that exceeds local perimeter must be
communicated to France team first and then decided who will carry out the customizing.
