connecting different components of a computer so that users can use the PC or
computer.

- Observed OHS and Used PPE 10%

- Speed and Accuracy 50%

- Assembled Functional System Unit 15%

A. Disassembly Phase

a. Participants will provide their own fully assembled computer

system unit (1) and necessary tools, materials and
equipment (screws, anti-static wrist strap, etc.)
b. The participants must remove the Five (5) Major
Components of the System Units namely: 1.) Hard disk, 2.)
RAM, 3.) Power Supply, 4.) CPU (no need to remove just show
its location, 5.) motherboard. When done disassembling,
participants must raise their right hands to call the attention
of any of the member of the judges to have their task
checked before proceeding to assembling phase.
c. Participants must observe set time limit to complete the
disassembly.
d. Judges assess participants' ability to safely and efficiently
remove components without causing damage.

B. Assembly Phase
a. Participants must perform assembling of the Five (5) Major
Components of the System Unit which were removed in the
previous phase (Disassembling phase).
b. Participants are tasked with assembling the components into
a fully functional computer system unit. The participants are
required to “Power On” the system unit as an evident of a
successful assembling phase.
c. The assembling must be completed within one (1) hour in
total including the disassembling process.
d. Contestant who damaged/destroyed major PC components
(such as motherboard, processor, memory and power supply)
will automatically be eliminated from the said contest.
e. The Board of Judges will evaluate participants based on the
correctness of component installation, cable management,
proper utilization of the different hand tools and materials
during the process of assembling, observance of OHS and
utilization of PPE and the overall neatness of the assembly.
