Guidelines and Mechanics For ASSEMBLING AND DISASSEMBLING
A. Assembling/Disassembling a PC means
connecting different components of a computer so that users can use the PC or
computer.
Criteria Percentage

B. Assembly Phase
a. Participants must perform assembling of the Five (5) Major
Components of the System Unit which were removed in the
previous phase (Disassembling phase).
b. Participants are tasked with assembling the components into
a fully functional computer system unit. The participants are
required to “Power On” the system unit as an evident of a
successful assembling phase.
c. The assembling must be completed within one (1) hour in
total including the disassembling process.
d. Contestant who damaged/destroyed major PC components
(such as motherboard, processor, memory and power supply)
will automatically be eliminated from the said contest.
e. The Board of Judges will evaluate participants based on the
correctness of component installation, cable management,
proper utilization of the different hand tools and materials
during the process of assembling, observance of OHS and
utilization of PPE and the overall neatness of the assembly.
