Cutter- is any tool that is used to remove material

from the work piece.


Wire Stripper- used to remove the cutter
jacket of the wire.
Crimping Tool- is a device used to
conjoin two pieces of metal.
Ruler- is a straightedge with equally
spaced markings along its length.
RJ45- is commonly used to connect computers onto
Ethernet-based local area networks (LAN).
LAN tester - can be used in the workplace and are ideal
for technical service professionals and
network administrators.
UTP Cable - is a single usually cylindrical, flexible strand
or rod of metal.

Steps in LAN Cabling:

1. Prepare all the materials needed.


2. Carefully remove the cutter jacket of the cable.
3. Untwist the pairs and arrange the wires based on T568B wiring.
4. Trim the untwisted wire flat and in-order as you push them into the
RJ45.
5. Place the wired plug into the crimping tool.
6. Repeat all the steps with the other end of the cable.
7. Test the cable using the LAN Tester.
