specifications provided in the contract, including their accuracy, completeness, and adherence
to relevant standards.

Article 4: Detail Drawings and Instructions: It addresses the provision of detailed drawings and
instructions, including their submission, review, and approval process.

Article 5: Shop Drawings: This section deals with shop drawings, which are detailed drawings
prepared by the contractor to show how specific parts of the construction will be fabricated or
installed.

Section III covers various aspects related to equipment and materials in a construction project:

materials in the contract.

by the contractor.
Article 10 - Materials, Fixtures, Appliances, and Fittings Furnished by the Contractor: Specifies
the types and quality of materials, fixtures, appliances, and fittings that the contractor is
responsible for providing.

Article 11 - Materials, Equipment, Fixtures, Appliances, and Fittings Furnished by the Owner:
Outlines the responsibilities of the owner in providing certain materials, equipment, fixtures,
appliances, and fittings for the project.

Article 12 - Royalties and Patents: Addresses any royalties or patents associated with the
equipment or materials used in the project.

Article 13 - Manufacturer’s Directions: Stipulates the importance of following manufacturer's


directions for the installation and use of materials and equipment in the construction project.

These articles collectively ensure clarity and accountability regarding the provision, quality, and
usage of equipment and materials throughout the construction process.

Section 4
Section IV covers Premises and Temporary Structures.

Article 14 addresses the Use of Premises, specifying the rights and responsibilities regarding
the utilization of the construction site. It may include provisions for access, storage, and
limitations during construction.

Article 15 focuses on Temporary Structures and Facilities, detailing requirements for any
temporary structures or facilities needed during construction, such as site offices, fencing, or
storage areas. It typically outlines who is responsible for their installation, maintenance, and
removal.

Section 5
Section V focuses on the protection of work and property.

Article 16: Protection of Work and Owner's Property:


- Contractors are responsible for safeguarding the construction site, materials, and equipment
from damage or loss.
- The owner's property within or adjacent to the construction site must also be protected from
damage.
- Contractors should take measures to prevent accidents or harm to individuals and property
during the construction process.

Article 17: Protection of Adjacent Property and Existing Utilities:

construction.
