Call For Papers
Call For Papers
Papers should be six pages in length, with up to two extra pages. The number of pages includes the
references, appendices, etc. A short video (1-minute maximum) can also be attached to your paper to
supplement results (see Instructions below).
The IROS Conference Paper Review Board rigorously reviews all submissions and then through the
IROS 2024 Senior Program Committee, renders acceptance decisions. Best Paper Awards in various
categories are also selected by their respective committees.
Note: IROS no longer offers an RA-L+IROS submission option. Papers accepted at RA-L, T-RO, RAM, and T-ASE
between August 1, 2023, and April 30, 2024 will be given the option to present at IROS2024.
All papers must be in English and submitted electronically in PDF (up to 6 MB) format via PaperPlaza. To ensure
formatting compliance (e.g. margins, fonts and size) the templates should be used (links provided above).
A 1-minute video (up to 10 MB) can be added to supplement your paper. Videos are not mandatory; rather, it’s an
opportunity to augment one’s paper to visibly showcase results. MPG, MPEG or MP4 video formats can be used.
One can upload or re-upload the video attachment no later than March 5, 2024 (23:59 PST).
All papers accepted at the 2024 IROS are to be presented, in person, by the author/co-author or a
knowledgeable person on the subject matter. All authors will also submit a 5-minute presentation video for IROS
on-demand. If a paper cannot be presented in person due to the inability to travel to the conference, the author
will be offered the option to present remotely. Alternatively, the 5-minute presentation video will be shown at the
in-person conference.
