Description:
This project is developing for Osmania University Administration
Department to consolidate and store information pertaining to Academic
rules and regulations, day to day circulars, schedules, activities of
university, college information, budget information, payroll information of
employees etc,. This information is maintained as a web document on the
server. This information is made accessible to only few senior officials of
the university and Administration Department. MS SQL Server is used as
backend to maintain URL database and Security database. Visual Basic is
used as a front end, to access web document on the server with the help of
Active Server Pages. The calculation and estimation is obtained from
various Departments of Administration Department and faculties were
analyzed using Visual Basic, thus avoiding the laborious and cumbersome
method of manual calculation. Provisions were made in the software for
maintaining the database of all the activities of Administration Department
with the help of MS SQL Server. To make it user-friendly application,
concepts of GUI are used on windows environment.

back in stipulated time. At the end of exam, marks scored in concept-wise
stating the grade of the candidate. This project gives report each

Radiation Dose Evaluation System

Client : Radiation Dosimetry Laboratories (Dept. of Physics, Osmania


University Hyderabad (India)

Scope: One of the primary objectives of Radiation dose evaluation is to


extract the data from various radiation exposure stations, such as radiation
labs, hospitals, research centers which use high-energy radiation. In this
group-based project, scientific ideas related to various parameters of
radiation dose are kept in the database and accessed
through various centers. The different trap data are obtained from the
background server agents by accessing data files from various centers
through Internet connectivity. As and when the data files are updated and
fresh observations are made the corresponding probability computations
are refreshed and algorithms are issued after particular thresh hold
levels through various different mailing mechanisms.

Automation of Soil and Water analysis report


Generation

Scope : This software developed with the following
objectives:
A) To keep track of Soil and Water samples received from the formers and
other Customers at the department laboratory.
B) Computation of the parameter values from the analysis data.
C) Classification and characterization of soil and water samples based on
the Results and report generation
D) Maintenance of farmer database who utilized sample
analysis services at the Department lab.

Description:

This project designed to maintain the details of each soil and water
samples received for the analysis from the farmers at the department lab,
and to expedite the analysis work. The software provides the facility of
computation of results from the analysis data by using Excel through OLE
feature in Visual Basic, thus avoiding the laborious and cumbersome
method of manual calculation. The software classifies and characterizes
the soil/water samples based on the analysis results taking into
consideration of critical values for various soil and water parameters.
Finally it generates the ready to serve sample analysis report for the
farmers by using crystal reports. Provision is made in the software for
maintaining the database of the farmers with the help of MS ACCESS. To
make it more user-friendly application, concepts of GUI are used on
windows environment.

Description:
It is fully menu driven package. Through user-friendly menus one can enter
or edit employee personal data, employee attendance date, and employee
over time date. Selecting the options from menu can have all the
operations, reports. All the tasks involved are names in casily
understandable Personal terminology so that any lay man with a little
knowledge personal can understandable personal can operate.
