Beginning of Activity
Opening statement
I have the classroom map and a fly swatter, we will take turns going around the table and
everyone will hit the fly swatter on the area you played in during work time.
Middle of Activity
Early:
Student will use the fly swatter to smack down on a random area on the classroom map. Using
a one or two word utterance explaining what and where they played at during work time.
Middle:
Student will use the fly swatter to smack down on the area that they played in and will recall
what they did during work time with a simple sentence.
Later:
Student will use the fly swatter to smack down on the area where they played in and with give
three or more details of what they did during work time.
End of Activity
“Thank you for sharing, you can go wash your hands for lunch.”
Follow-up Ideas
