My magazine offers readers the opportunity to read about Canyon traffic here in Utah and
how it is affecting us. This project has been something that I have absolutely loved and wish I
could have done more about. I really enjoyed starting from my perspective and then adding
someone close to me to do primary research about my social issue entirely. I think that Utah has
a lot to offer in terms of the outdoors, which is why a lot of people end up moving here or
staying here. I wanted to show readers and anyone who ends up coming across my work how
much I care about the issue of the traffic in the canyons that we have. I hope that anyone who
comes upon my work sees how much I genuinely love to be in the mountains and how much I
love to ski. I also want them to see how much I want to find a solution for the issue that we have
on our hands.
The first thing that you will find in my magazine is my Flash Memoir, which I wrote
about myself. If you end up reading this, you will learn how much being on the mountain means
to me. It truly has become something that, over the years, I have been able to connect with
myself deeply. Growing up as a skier has been something that I have taken the most pride in, and
I feel like I am really able to express that through my memoir. The next thing you will find here
is a Voice recording of the Portfolio that I wrote on Aidan Bleyl. Aidan is also an avid skier who
has recently found himself not able to ski as much due to being a busy student-athlete, but the
traffic situation makes it so he can't go up and ski without risking being late to practice or game
due to the traffic. After that, you will find my Information Effect project, where I was really able
to visually show what is actually happening here in Utah up the canyons and talk about what
people are saying as well as how it is affecting others in Utah. Lastly, you will find my Pursasian
effect project was something that I really enjoyed. I enjoyed how it turned out, and I feel like I
was able to connect with readers. I really wanted people to see how something like the gondola
wouldn't really do much for our problem and would ultimately add even more issues to our
canyon.
This magazine highlights the work that I have done over the past months and is genuine
stuff that I am very proud of. I hope readers are able to connect with it. I hope it will bring some
important information to people quickly. Writing and designing this magazine is something I
had so much fun with, and I think that is due to how much I genuinely connect with the issue. I
hope that anyone who stumbles upon this finds it exciting and leaves feeling like they learned a
little more about how that canyon traffic in Utah is genuinely an issue.
