Thanks for purchasing Hubsan products

For the H501S, there are two different firmware versions for it.

One is start from H501S and another is start with H501SS

And they are two different firmware versions and also it cannot be mix used

Take care before process the upgrading and try to follow up below instruction

Before you make the upgrading, please check your stock firmware first

The procedure is as following:

For the standard version with standard transmitter

Power on both drone and transmitter then bind them

And then try to pull down the throttle stick to the bottom position then hold on it at the same
time press down and hold on the elevator stick for few seconds until display the menu interface

Choose the option “show the version “then you can check all the version of both drone and
transmitter (this one suit for standard edition with standard transmitter)

For the advanced transmitter is should be as list below:

Power on both drone and transmitter then bind them

And then try to pull down the throttle stick to the bottom position then hold on it at the same
time press down and hold on the button “Enter “for few seconds until display the menu interface
Choose the option “show the version “then you can check all the version of both drone and
transmitter (this one suit for standard edition with standard transmitter)

Choose the correct version according check your stock firmware first before upgrading

If your stock version is came with the version:

H906A-V1.1.8 /4.2.19
H501SS V2.1.16
V1.1.29

Then try to download the correct latest upgrading firmware from below link

Press down and hold on the button “enter” at the same time switch on the transmitter
When there is massage indicating there “binds to the plane “then tries to power on the drone
