I am writing this letter on behalf of Miss Amariah Smith and it is a pleasure and privilege to do so. I
became acquainted with Amariah this year as she is a student in my senior English class and excels at
each assignment she completes. She is very motivated, organized, and very responsible. She works hard
to maintain her high 3.1 GPA and she rarely misses a day of school.

Amariah has a warm and genuine personality and adapts easily to any situation. She demonstrates her
competence, energy, and commitment to others in every task she undertakes. Not only is Amariah a strong
student academically, but is also involved in FCCLA (Family, Career, and Community Leaders of
America). Her goals after high school are to attend Merced Community College and attain a degree in
Diagnostic Sonography.

Amariah’s motivation in the academic arena, as well as in her personal life is impressive and it shows in
everything she does. I believe that Amariah should be at the top of any group of applicants when being
