Abstract:

In this paper, I aim to provide concise definitions of disability and gender,

examine the similarities and differences between the two terms, explore
the reasons behind the high dropout rates of girls from schools, discuss
the historical denial of admission to inclusive schools for girls before the
21st century, and shed light on how their disabled and non-disabled male
counterparts subject them to acts of sexual violence.

I chose this topic because, as a visually impaired girl, I can personally relate
to the challenges faced by women with disabilities. These women have
been a source of inspiration for me, showcasing resilience in the face of
adversity.
