Subject: Mental Health Sessions

With Mental Health Wellness as one of the advocacies of this University being actively
undertaken through the University’s Guidance Center, may I direct all faculty members
teaching GEC courses on Understanding the Self and Contemporary World, UASG National and
Provincial officials, faculty and students of the AB Psychology and BSED Social Science, to
attend the Mental Health and Gudance Day activities tomorrow at 8:00AM, UA Covered
Gymnasium. A series of lectures and talks, exhibits and other interactive activities will
highlight the celebration and provide enlightening insights on coping with day to day
challenges, and improving one’s resiliency, fortitude, and psycho-social relationships. This
day-long activity will be facilitated by the Guidance Center and SA-Sikolohiya and which will
also be shared virtually with our external campuses.

Furthermore, to ensure maximum participation and a more engaging interaction, subject

instructors are enjoined to bring their class to join and excuse those attending the sessions
provided they can submit evidence that they are in attendance in the ongoing sessions. In
addition, teachers are directed to require students; outputs related to their learnings/insights
e, g. reaction papers, captioned photos, video clips of reactions’ learning, etc.).
