Living a life as a bush woman in the middle of dry and barren desert of Australia requires
certain qualities to guarantee survival. In your opinion, what are the qualities a woman should
possess in order to be a drover’s wife?

As what i see it, there are many qualities that a woman should possess in order to be a
drover’s wife. One of it, they must be someone very independent. It is important to be self
dependent especially when their husband is out for their job. No need to rely on others when
something happens or something that we need. Secondly, she must be full of hardship and
strong enough to survive many challenges that could happen anytime. For instance, no matter
climate challenges like floods and also dangerous reptiles in their house. They can survive
even though they have many children as well. Thirdly, that woman must know how to make their
own happiness. The happiness that they can produce for her child and for their own self.
Wherever they live, they still can live a life no matter how hard it is. After that, she must have a
loving and caring heart. It is to make sure they can also be a good mother towards their children
even while living a poor lifestyle. In a nutshell, that woman is able to think out of the box. The
real hard thinking woman can truly survive any challenges through their rough life. It is very
respectful to that woman especially when their real hero, also known as husband, was out of
nowhere anytime soon. Like the woman can use guns professionally as well as find good food
for her child with everything that is possible to be eaten around her.
