I am pleased to inform you that you are appointed as Paper Setter for the Subject
Electrical Machines and Control Systems (Code No. 20EE2204) of II B.Tech. II Semester.
You are requested to frame two sets of question papers in the subject mentioned. If any diagrams
appear in the question papers, they are to be neatly drawn and the dimensions to be indicated
clearly. For analytical / numerical questions the data can be provided in full. Brief scheme of
valuation is also required.

You are eligible for remuneration at the rate of Rs.1250/- per question paper including
postal charges.

Two sets of Question papers ( Set-1 & Set-2) are to be filled in prescribed format given in
enclosures and remaining enclosed formats can also be filled and sent to Controller of
Examinations, N.B.K.R. Institute of Science & Technology, Vidyanagar – 524 413, Nellore Dt. by

INSTRUCTIONS TO QUESTION PAPER SETTERS

 Use appropriate verbs for different domains of Bloom’s Taxonomy for


Framing / preparing questions.

 The question paper should cover all the (cognitive) domains of


Bloom’s Taxonomy and distributed judiciously.

1. 12 questions are to be set choosing two questions from each unit


of the syllabus.

2. All the questions carry equal marks (10 Marks each).

3. The candidate has to answer ONE question from each section.

4. The questions must be framed within the scope of the syllabus


from the prescribed text books only.

5. If the question paper contains any diagrams they must be neatly


presented and the dimensions must be clearly mentioned,
removing any ambiguity to the student.

6. Delete the Question papers file after receiving conformation from


the Controller of Examinations.

7. Strict confidentiality is to be maintained.
