HTML - Notes For Stu-2
HTML forms are allowing web user to interact with the website. Forms collect information from a
user, and then a script or program on a web server uses this information to compose a custom
response to the form submission. These form tags are used to produce the form and form controls.
Forms can have different types of controls to collect the input-data from users.
Which are listed below and shown in Table.

• Radio button
• Checkbox
• Select box
• File select
• Buttons
• Submit and reset buttons

Text Input Controls
There are three types of text input used on forms.
Single Line Text Input Controls
Password Input Controls
Multi Line Text Input Controls
Checkbox Controls
Checkbox is used when more than one option is required to be selected. They are also
created using HTML <input> tag but type attribute is set to checkbox.
Radio Button Control
Radio buttons are used when out of many options, just one option is required to be
selected.
They are also created using HTML <input> tag but type attribute is set to radio.
