With reference to the subject above, and through

email communication consultant instructed many
time that during road cutting safe alternative
roads shall be provided as per NWC standards at
Al Khwarzmi road but contractor ignored the
consultant’s instruction.

CWC is constructing a road near Security Forces

Hospital Dammam which is not safe. Because all
the vehicles are passing through the hospital
parking lot which will increase the risk of
accidents.

An alternate road shall be arranged for vehicular

operation (with due approval from traffic police) to
avoid accidents. warning signs, flashing beacons,

pavement markings, and arrow boards will usually

be sufficient to alert and guide drivers safely
around or through work zones.

Make sure contractor should have an alternative

road for vehicles operation.

Therefore, it is instructed to provide a safe

alternative road near hospital area to protect the
workers as well as vehicles from accidents.
