Make a Film Poster

Cinemas around the country display posters

to tell us what we can go and watch at
the cinema.
These posters are designed to grab our attention
as we are walking past so they need to have an
eye-catching picture and be written in a short
and snappy way.
You are a film director. You need to design a
poster to tell everyone about your latest film.

Here are some things for you to think about and include. Tick them
off on the list when you add them:
Title Description
This should be catchy Write short and snappy
sentences to tell the reader
what the film is about.

Picture of Film
Draw an attention-grabbing picture to
include who is in the film and where
it is set.
What People Are Saying
Write one sentence to tell the reader
what is great about the film and why
people should watch it. Use speech marks
and include imperative verbs (bossy
verbs), such as go, watch, come, get.

Starring Rating
Add the names of two Rate your film out of five
characters or actors. stars by colouring in the right
amount of stars.
