Course Objective

To apply Economic principles to evaluate Energy markets. To develop pricing strategies for
alternative energy markets accounting for externalities Formulate energy-related policies to achieve
sustainable energy transition with economic and environmental feasibility.

2) Student learning outcomes from the course:

At the end of the course, the student will be able to:

1.To communicate and be familiar with energy sector and their management strategies for
nation building.
2. To build up solicitous minds in drawing appropriate inferences in research and also to
improve their abilities in policy making which would be justified to accomplish the
hypothesized socio-economic goals.
