*1: The default setting has the 3 types below. Select an appropriate one according to the region.

(a) Standard
The maximum skin dose for fluoroscopy is set as 5.75 R/min (= 50 mGy/min). It is for a region
where subjects tend to be thinner (coverage of 30 cm or less) and image quality has high priority.
Use this for the region where the maximum skin-dose of 10 R/min is not permitted.

(b) Bariatric

(c) The maximum skin dose for fluoroscopy is set as 10 R/min (= 86 mGy/min). Use this for the region
where the maximum skin-dose of 10 R/min is permitted and subjects tend to be thicker (coverage of
more than 30 cm).EU
It is based on DIN 6868-150. Use this for the region where dose regulation equivalent to that in
Germany is enforced.

When you use “(a) Standard” or “(b) Bariatric”, refer to M517-E648 in IQ-AM and M517-E260 in
SONIALVISION G4 Procedure Preset List. When you use “(c) EU”, refer to M517-E744 in IQ-AM and
M517-E279 in SONIALVISION G4 Procedure Preset List.

1.1 Installation

Focus on the underlined description and install.

Introduction

Check that no hollows on the cover and scratches on the table.


Be sure to check the parts when unpacking cardboard.
(Take out all the packing materials once to check nothing is left.)
Unpacking
Color of tapes on the cardboard indicates the follows;
Yellow : Parts for operation room are packed
Brown or Clear : Parts for examination room are packed.

According to the layout to install the table, ZS cabinet,


high-voltage generator cabinet, DR-EXAM cabinet, DR-OPE
cabinet and console.
Installing
More than 1050x1900 mm is required for carry-in entrance.
(Refer to “Appendix 4 Installation dimensional drawing” in
ZS-IM.)

Attach main frame ASSY to base ASSY.


Assembling Table Attach post ASSY.
Remove the tabletop from main frame.
(Refer to “2.2 Sub-assembly” in ZS-IM “PART1: Installation”)

To reduce the installation period, separate in 3 groups of table,


control cabinets and console for wiring. Wiring descriptions for
each group are shown as follows:

#2 Wiring control cabinet
#3 Wiring console
Assigning Installation
Wire #1-1, #2-1~#2-3 and #3-1 first for enabling the operation of
table.

Each inter-unit cable is equipped with color marking on both


ends in accordance with its destination as below. Wire the
cables in reference to the marking.
ZS-200 main body: Red
ZS cabinet: Yellow
UD cabinet: Orange
DR EXAM cabinet: Blue
Remote console and DR OPE cabinet: Gray
Local console and Monitor cart: Brown

Chapter 1 Installation

#1-1. Wiring for enabling table operation


(Refer to “2.3 Wiring for main body” in ZS-IM “PART1: Installation”)

Check that procedures from #2-1 to #2-3 for wiring control cabinet
and #3-1 for wiring console are completed.

Working on the following section before power distribution.


 2.3.4 Setting of jumper (NEX-SH PCB)
2.3.7 Setting DIP Switch (NEX-SH PCB)

Be sure to connect and disconnect the cable when the power is


OFF. A case is reported that ZSCONT-09 PCB got out of order
due to the connection or disconnection of ZS-REMOTE cable
during the power distribution.
And working on the following section after power distribution.
 2.3.8 Initializing AC servo motor (FPD carriage and post ASSY)
 2.3.9 Registering lever potentiometer (Remote/ Local console )

Wiring post ASSY in standing position after the table can be tilted.

After wiring post ASSY, mount the X-ray tube and then wire the
low-voltage cable A.
To prevent short circuit, be sure to connect the terminal of
low-voltage cable A to the X-ray tube first, and then distribute the
power.
 2.3.11 Initializing AC servo monitor (Tube Support)

#1-2. Wiring X-ray tube


(Refer to “2.4 Mounting the X-ray tube” in ZS-IM “PART1:
Installation”)
Check that Al filter is 0.3mm+1.2mm (=1.5mm).
Set the table to standing position (or Trendelenburg position) and
rotate the tube rotation at 90° to clockwise (or counterclockwise).
Attach trunnion ring and X-ray tube cover mounting bracket.
Pay attention to the attaching place of trunnion ring.
Mount and fix the X-ray tube.
Connect the X-ray tube side of X-ray low-voltage cable.

Mounting collimator to X-ray tube.
Remove collimator cover and cable tie of the leaf.
Wire the collimator cable and connect to the collimator.
Replace the collimator cover.

1.1 Installation

(Refer to “3.4.1.8 Maximum Field Size Adjust” in ZS-IM


“PART2: Maintenance”)
If collimator has no polygonal collimator (C-leaves) and
single-acting H mask (L/R mask), set field size to 476×476
mm (SID = 1 m) for the maximum open of H/V leaves.

(Refer to “3.1 Wiring of X-ray tube” in ZS-IM “PART1:


Installation”)
Bind the high-voltage cable, X-ray tube oil hose and
low-voltage cable on the tube side and fix with a plate.
Have an extra length of high-voltage cable for wiring to plug-in
or out it upon maintenance.
Connect the connector for low-voltage cable of tube support,
work on the cable clamp, fix the high-voltage cable, oil hose
and collimator cable to the upper area of the tube support with
a plate, adjust the length and then bind with a spiral tube.
Fix the cable from tube rotation with a cable tie.
Return the tabletop to horizontal position.
Adjust the length of cables in the back of column and bind with
a spiral tube. At this time, consider the order of cables on the
side of column.
Bind the cables on the side of column and fix with brackets.
Wire the cables such as high-voltage cable to the runner flex.

#1-4 Wiring main frame mounting base


(Refer to “3.6 Wiring of the microphone cable” in ZS-IM
“Section 1: INSTALLATION”)
Wire the cable 2 and 3 of table microphone cable and pull out
the cable 3 into the back of main frame mounting base.

(Refer to “3.3 Wiring on back of main body fixing base” in ZS-IM


“Section 1: INSTALLATION”)
Pull out the cable from FPD carriage and main frame ASSY foot side
to the exit of main frame mounting base.
Fix the cables from post ASSY runner flex with fixing brackets and
pass through the cables in order of 2 high-voltage cables, 2 oil hose,
X-ray tube low-voltage cable and other cables to the duct holder
without crossing the cables.
Pass through the cables from FPD carriage and main frame ASSY
foot side to the duct holder.
Attach the duct cover with safety sensor. Connect the safety sensor
to CN-MAT 3.

#1-5 Wiring on the back of base ASSY


(Refer to “3.4 Wiring on the back of Base” in ZS-IM “Section 1:
INSTALLATION”)
Pass the cables from the duct holder of main frame mounting base to
the cable BOX of back of base ASSY, and adjust and bind the cables.
If space between back of the table and the wall is narrow for
convenience of layout of control room, remove the plate and terminal
box from the cable BOX once and fix the cable to plate and terminal
box with aluminum clamp and connect the earth cable. And then
replace to the cable BOX.
Pass the cable from main frame mounting base left (seeing from the
table front) through the cable BOX of back of base ASSY, and adjust
the length and bind.
#1 Wiring Table To place the temperature and humidity data logger on the cable BOX,
3 pull out the edge of MODULER CABLE from the cable BOX and pull
out the opposite side of this cable from the table as well as the other
cables.

#1-6 Mounting heat exchanger


(Refer to “2.7 Installing the heat exchanger” and “2.8 Installing
the heat exchanger (For Narrow Backside)” in ZS-IM “Section 1:
INSTALLATION”)
Mounting X-ray tube heat exchanger. Fix the extra oil hose and also
pull out the cable from heat exchanger from the base ASSY.
If there is insufficient clearance space between back of the table and
the wall, remove the mount from base ASSY and mount heat
exchanger. Then fix the mount to base ASSY.

#1-8 Attaching cover with safety sensor switch


(Refer to “4 Attaching the Covers” in ZS-IM “Section 1:
INSTALLATION”)
When operating the table in the initial setting mode, safety sensor will
be ignored. To operate in the normal mode, mounting safety sensor is
required.
Attach stand cover L/R and connect to CN-MAT 5/6.
Connect the safety sensor of main frame mounting base to
CN-MAT 4.
Attach duct cover and connect to CN-MAT 3.
Attach base cover L/R and connect to CN-MAT 1/2.

#2-1 Wiring around high-voltage generator cabinet


Measure the voltage of 3-phase power supply of distribution
board and change the entrance cable connection of T1-40
transformer and T2-CE transformer in high-voltage generator
cabinet.
(Refer to “3.5 Changing T1 and T2 Connections” in UD-IM
“Installation”)
Change the connection of XAT-2H tap according to the
voltage of 3-phase power supply.
Connect 3-phase power cable and shielded wire between the
distribution board and high-voltage generator cabinet.
Connect the earth cable between the distribution board and
high-voltage generator cabinet.

Pull in the cable from other unit to the high-voltage generator


cabinet.
From the table:
High-voltage cable (HV transformer, SGC)

Phototimer cable (PHTAFU-2009 J22 [DET1])
(Refer to “3.9 Connecting the Direct Phototimer

From ZS cabinet:

Connect ZS power supply cable just before the power
distribution.
From DR-EXAM cabinet:
IBS signal (COMDAR-2009 TV7,TV2),
Cable,UD-DR(COMDAR-2009 J34 DAR)
(Refer to “3.10 Connecting the System Cable” in UD-IM
“Installation”)
For combination of the second X-ray tube, refer to “3.11
Connecting to External Devices” in UD-IM “Installation”
for connection.

#2-2 Checking the setting of high-voltage generator cabinet


switch and setting of temporary operation
(Refer to “3.13 Board Switch Settings and Jumber Pins
Settings” in UD-IM “Installation”)
Check DIP SW and Jumper settings of UD CONT-2002,
TERMINAL-2002, COMDAR-2009, PHTAFU-2009, GRID
CONT-2000 boards.
Until the adjustment after X-ray exposure, set the high-voltage
generator cabinet to temporary operation for safety.
(Refer to “1.8 Preparing for Test Operation” in UD-IM
“Maintenance”)

#2-3 Wiring for enabling table operation


Connect ZS power supply cable (with earth) to ZS cabinet from the
high-voltage generator cabinet.
(Refer to “3.10 Connecting the System Cable” in UD-IM
“Installation”)

Change the connection of ZAT tap according to 3-phase power


supply voltage if necessary.
(Refer to “2.3.5 Changing Auto Transformer ZAT-1 (Optional)
Connection in ZS-IM “Section 1: INSTALLATION”)

Change the connection of Starter SA-61S T2 Transformer. SA-61S is


placed in ZS cabinet.
(Refer to “3.6 Connecting the SA-64S Starter” in UD-IM
“Installation”)

Pay attention not forge to change the connection of SA-61S T2


transformer when wiring 400V series. The system may be broken
if make a mistake in connection change.

Shorten 2-3 of ZS CONT-09 PCB JP4 to bypass the stop switch.


(Normally shorten 1-2)
Check that procedures #1-1 for Wiring table is completed.
And then enable to distribute 3-phase power supply to ZS cabinet.
#2 Wiring Control Cabinet

Attach the cover on the upper area of DR-EXAM cabinet.
Put non-slip zipper on MPC and CP2 and fix.
(Refer to “3.4 Fastening the Cabinet” in DR-IM)

Wire the following cables to CP2 / PowerBox.

SERIAL CABLE,4343CB CP2 D-sub – MPC COM5
(Refer to “3.6.3 Connecting CPLC, 4343CB (CP2)” in DR-IM or
“3.6.4 Connecting POWERBOX, AS-10(PowerBox)” in DR-IM)

Measure the power supply voltage of single-phase 200VAC of


distribution board and change the connection of P-200 cable to
transformer if necessary.
(Refer to “3.5 Supplying Voltage Through a Connection” in
DR-IM)

Connect the power supply and earth cables between distribution


board and power supply ASSY.
(Refer to “3.6.2 Connecting the DR-EXAM Cabinet” in DR-IM)

1.1 Installation

To connect to DR-OPE cabinet, connect and bind the


following cables and draw them into the console.

DVI PS CABLE - DVI J31
LAN CABLE REF – HUB CH5
LAN DVI CABLE4 - DVI MAIN J13,J21,J23,J25
Each cable connected to DVI MAIN J13,J21,J23,J25, will be
connected DR OPE cabinet DVI OUT CN3,CN1,CN2, TOUCH
PANEL LCD LANCN2 so mark on the cable.

DR-IM)

To connect to the high-voltage generator cabinet, connect and


draw the following cables into the high-voltage generator
cabinet.
CABLE,UD-DR – ISYS CN23, J501
IBS CABLE FOR EVOLVE - I-SYS CN15
(Refer to “3.6.2 Connecting the DR-EXAM Cabinet” in
DR-IM)

Draw the following cables for the table into DR-EXAM Cabinet
and wire.
FAN CABLE,FPD – RELAY ASSY J107
FPD Optical Cable (CABLE,20M OPTIC) – CP2/PowerBox
FIBER

Connect the cable P-CABLE, MONITOR CART for local


monitor cart to RELAY ASSY J104.
If there is a large local console option, connect the LAN DVI
cable from it to DVI MAIN J24 and CALBE,DR-REMOTE to
ACQ PC COM2 and ACQ PC AUDIO.

DR-IM)

Check the switch setting


Check the switch setting of I-SYS BOARD,DVI MAIN BOARD.
(Refer to “3.10 Checking the DIP Switch Settings” in
DR-IM)

#2-5 Wiring around ZS cabinet


Connect the cable “Cable,UD-MECA” from high-voltage
generator to ZS CONT-09 PCB CN3.

Check the switch setting of MOTHER-SA60,NEX-SH for


SA61S.

Check that procedures #1-1 for wiring table and #2-1~#2-3 for wiring
control cabinets are completed.

#3-1 Wiring around control console


Remove covers for DR-OPE cabinet shipping and etc. and ready for
wiring.
(Refer to “3.3.2 Installing the DR-OPE Cabinet” in DR-IM)

Connect the following cables from DR-EXAM cabinet.


POWER CABLE, OPE – DVI SUB CN5
CABLE,DR-REMOTE - TOUCH Panel LCD CN8 D-sub & SONIAL
REMOTE 2009 JPC
DVI PS CABLE – DVI SUB CN5
LAN CABLE REF – REF PC LAN

Connect remote monitor to DVI OUT CN3,CN5.


Connect MONITOR PW CABLE OA and MONITOR PW CABLE OR
#3 Wiring Console
to TB3[E,R0,R100].
Connect keyboard and mouse to REF PC.
Connect EARTH CABLE,OPE from DR-OPE cabinet earth bracket to
distribution board and EARTH CABLE,#10 to remote console.
Connect the following cables related to intercom to
SonialRemote-2009 PCB.

Set high-voltage generator cabinet as a temporary operation (refer to


#2 Wiring Control Cabinet 1) and connect only cable JS1 to
UDCONT-2002 PCB here.

Checking Power After wiring the table, control cabinet and console, distribute the power
Distribution and check that there is no startup error and unusual smell.
Check the voltage at the following point:
HIGH-VOLTAGE GENERATOR CABINET TERMINAL-2002 PCB
L0,L100: 100VAC±5V
DR-EXAM CABINET TRANS ASSY 0V,100V: 100VAC±5V

Apply “Revision UP” if Revision of SW/FW is less than the

Check the connection and operation of network in hospital and
remote maintenance network.

Initial Setting of DR-300
Set data saving to CD-R/DVD-R media.
