1. what does the Police mean?
Before getting to the heart of the matter concerning the role of the police in our
society, let me define the word "POLICE" and I will start by listing the roles of the
police in our society. THE POLICE is a set of bodies and institutions ensuring the
maintenance of public order and the repression of offenses. The role of the police
is to protect individuals and their property through preventive actions or
emergency interventions.
2. what does the police do?
Police officers must provide a feeling of peace, security, and tranquility to the
population, the police must be at the disposal of the population, it is with this in
mind that we will examine the work of our police within the society do they do
their job well?
3. what is not done?
Despite the roles of the police being examined so highly, we notice that our police
do not fulfill their role properly, it has many shortcomings and difficulties which
push the population to lose confidence in them, which push the people to rebel
against them.
The causes that would push the police not to carry out their work properly could be
poverty wages, poor living conditions, thirst for money, corruption, etc.
4. how to solve the problem?
To remedy this, it would be preferable to improve the living conditions of the
police, to improve their salaries, to involve them in the notion of honesty, to resist
bribes and generous envelopes to ensure good police training and regain the trust
of the population.

society and they must fulfill their role well because the security of its population
depends on it.
