Once upon a time,
On 31 August 1957, independence was declared.

How do we unite? Hm…


A few years later, in 1963, Singapore, Sarawak and Sabah joined Malaya and all of them
together formed the Federation of Malaysia.

Singapore???? Really?

Yes!!

In 1965, Singapore was declared as a separate state!

Why? Why? Why?

Singapore did not want to unite with us over political and racial concerns.

Other than our National day, In 2010, Malaysia Day officially became a public holiday to
promote the Malaysian spirit and remind us of the hard work of our ancestors to give us the
freeeedom from colonization!

including Malays, Chinese, Indian and the Native.
