Dear Ma´am /Sir,

Greetings from Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan New Delhi.

We are pleased to offer a 2-Week long Intensive Language Course (05.07.2024 –


20.07.2024) in Germany on a scholarship basis. This scholarship will be offered to the winners
of our Essay & Video Competition.

The competition:

Make an interesting short video on the topic in German language (max. 180 seconds) :
Introduce yourself and tell us about your life´s dream.
Write an essay in German language (max.1 page): What can the Germans learn from your
country and vice-versa?

To qualify for this scholarship the students:

must be 16-17 years old at the time of the scholarship.(in July 2024)
must have successfully completed A2 FIT or B1/B1j exam of the Goethe-Institut (all 4
modules)
needs a passport valid till 30.09.2024 or later.
should not have received any other scholarship to Germany from Goethe-Institut.
send both the entries in German along with their valid ID proof to Sarah.Al-
Jorafi@goethe.de and cc to educo.newdelhi@goethe.de till 15.02.2024

The scholarship holders get:

Stay: In Münich for 2 weeks in a youth hostel on twin/triple sharing basis + 1 weekend in
Berlin
Flights: Delhi – Münich – Delhi + Transfers
All meals
2 weeks intensive German Language course
Tickets for public transport in Münich
250/- Euros for sundry expenses
Cultural and Leisure Programme for students
Travel Insurance – (Health and Accidental)
Exposure to multiple cultures with participants from Germany, Kenya and Uzbekistan.

The financing of the visa costs for the students is to be covered through the parents
‘contributions.
