Abstract. This project aims to respond to the
rapid spread of fires, encouraging the Also to Dr. Manuel Curto for helping us in exchange of exotic plants for indigenous plants, this project of ours and for its availability. in places where there are plants less resistant References to fires and other environmental factors, namely extreme temperatures. There are several methodologies hybridization capture versus Amplicon‐Based methods for Whole‐Exome sequencing”, used for this purpose, however, its high cost Human Mutation, vol. 36, no. 9, pp. 903–914, turns out to be one of the limitations. One of the Jul. 2015 most common techniques is PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) that amplifies specific regions [3] of DNA. On the other hand, NGS (Next https://nebula.org/blog/pt-br/metodos-de-tes Generation Sequencing) allows the analysis of te-de-introducao-ao-dna/ millions of DNA fragments simultaneously. [4] In this way, our project intends to investigate https://www.3tres3.com.pt/artigos/pcr-como and announce new information about a topic -ferramenta-de-diagnostico-2-2-usos-e-inte already studied superficially - the level of rpretacão_15386/ resistance of the plants. This will only be possible through the use of the genotyping technique, where the procedures may vary depending on the technique used, but usually involve common steps, such as material extractions from the different plants, after that, fragment the DNA and amplify specific regions of the genome by means of PCR to be then sequenced.
The project in which we are involved seeks to
understand the genetic diversity within plant populations. Thus, by investigating the plants most resistant to the factors mentioned, we can not only contribute to the preservation of natural ecosystems, but also develop more effective forest restoration and management strategies.
